AMC Week of May 10, 2010
Monday
Ryan apologized for not being there for Greenlee when she lost their baby but she said going back to that is "too much" for her. He still wanted her to be happy and hoped that she'll be able to carry her baby to term, if she is pregnant. The exes decided they could be friends and Greenlee ignored a phone call from David. They headed to their meeting and after, Ryan produced a home pregnancy test for her to take. Greenlee didn't think it was necessary, but kissed him on his cheek for his concern.
Marissa tearfully informed her mom about JR's infidelity. Krystal consoled her daughter and Tad offered his guest room for temporary lodging. Scott showed up to check on Marissa and she blasted him for protecting JR. Scott apologized but she told him to "get the hell out."
David menacingly advised Madison to do what he says but she was unfazed by his threats. Liza called with more information on Madison. After hanging up, David warned Madison that he would ask a lot of "pesky questions" about her husband's death and ordered her to seduce Ryan. She called him "obsessive" and "paranoid" but he said she had 24 hours to get the job done. After she left, Liza waltzed in and David shared that he was going to Rio to see what was going on with Greenlee and Ryan. Liza advised him not to go. Marissa called Liza and asked to see her so David tagged along to check on what was going on with his daughter.
Annie came unglued with JR for drugging her and he proclaimed his hatred for her. He said Marissa knows about them now and Annie taunted that he still wants her. He vowed he would never touch her again and lamented losing his wife. After Annie stormed out, Tad showed up and blasted JR for his
behavior.
Liza and David met with Marissa, who revealed that JR slept with Annie. David charged out and Marissa chased after him. Annie tracked down Liza and said she wanted to accept Adam's divorce settlement. Liza said she knows about Annie sleeping with JR and that Adam's offer is officially "off the table."
Madison admitted to Randi that David was threatening to look into Henry's death. Madison proposed that she leave town but Randi didn't think that was the answer.... David slugged JR and Tad angrily reminded Hayward of some of the sins he's committed.... Marissa tried to apologize to Marissa, who responded by throwing a drink in Annie's face.... Madison returned to David and said, "I'll do it."
Tuesday
Amanda remained shaken by her ordeal with Janet. Jake told her that Janet is still unconscious but stable. Amanda felt guilty for having wished that Janet had died. Jake left Trevor with Amanda when he was paged to the hospital.
At the Chandler mansion, Damon prepared to saw off his cast. Colby helped him finish the job. When he vented about Tad having abandoned Hillary with a kid, Colby pointed out that he had done the same thing to Bailey. They ended up in a smooch, which Liza walked in on. Liza told Damon that Bailey is going to study abroad for a month so he has to go back to Ohio to tend to Stuart. Colby proposed that Damon bring the baby to the mansion instead. Damon thanked her and left. Liza begged Colby to reconsider. Later, they ran into each other again at the hospital. Colby treated Liza harshly but evaded revealing to Liza that she was there to get birth control pills.
Tad and Krystal discussed JR having cheated on Marissa. Tad blamed himself. He went to the casino and came face-to-face with Damon. Tad apologized to him for not having told Damon the truth himself. Damon told Tad about Stuart's imminent visit.
At Fusion, Randi told Erica about Greenlee's trip to Rio. Meanwhile, Ryan and Greenlee returned to Pine Valley. She was grateful for his help in securing her packaging license. David came outside to greet his wife. Ryan left and got a call from Erica. Greenlee was thrilled when David reported that they had officially purchased the hospital. Erica went to BJ's to confront Ryan about having offered his aid to Greenlee. Erica was relieved when Ryan shared that he had gotten Greenlee to agree not to press charges against Kendall. Greenlee went to Jack to give him the new contracts and he probed her about how things had gone with Ryan. Greenlee insisted that her marriage to David is solid. After Erica left BJ's, Madison (on orders from David) sidled up to Ryan and told him she was dating someone new. Erica went to Wildwind to see Greenlee, who wasn't there, so Erica settled for trying to make David feel insecure about Greenlee. In Erica's presence, David knocked over Greenlee's bag and the pregnancy test spilled to the ground. David told Erica to get out. Erica went to see Jack and probed him for info on Greenlee's trip to Rio, but Jack refused to violate attorney/client (or father/daughter) privilege. When Jack's back was turned, Erica swiped Greenlee's documents off of Jack's desk. At the casino, Ryan told Tad about his trip. Greens went home to Wildwind and David showed her the pregnancy test. He asked Greenlee why she was keeping secrets from him.
Wednesday
Madison and Randi conversed about David's attempt to blackmail Madison. Randi urged Madison to report it to Jesse. Mad insisted on handling the matter on her own.
David grilled Greenlee about why she had kept the pregnancy test from him. He was upset when Greens let it slip that Ryan knew about the test before he did. David told Greenlee to take the test. She told him that she didn't want kids and left, upset. David called Madison and gave her orders on how to lure Ryan into her bed.
Krystal advised a heartbroken Marissa to take time to heal. Marissa took offense at Krystal's motherly intervention and stalked off. She went to see David, who agreed to try to back off of JR but couldn't stop himself from verbally bashing his son-in-law.
Tad and Ryan discussed the curious case of someone having made copies of the casino room keys. Liza went to see Tad and they argued about Damon.
At the Chandler manse, Liza arrived with a court order instigated by Adam to evict Annie from the mansion. Annie seethed and stormed out. Liza warned JR that Annie could get it overturned. JR was crushed when Liza told him that Adam hadn't even spoken his name. Annie showed up and told Ryan that she needed his help. He offered to get her and Emma a room at the casino. Annie felt that she should handle matters by herself but asked Ryan to watch Emma for a few days. He insisted on giving her some cash to get by on. Annie told Emma that she had to go live with Ryan for a while. After saying good-bye to her daughter in the park, Annie broke down crying. She was then accosted by a mugger. Ryan went to the yacht club, where he saw Greens. She told Ryan about her fight with David. Madison, who had met up with David's crony, Sebastian, told him to follow her lead. Madison introduced Ryan to Sebastian as her new beau. Greens went home and David apologized to her for their earlier squabble. She told him that she was going to take the test. "I'm not pregnant," she reported later.
Madison asked Randi to help her out with the David situation. Ryan, meanwhile, saw surveillance footage Tad had dug up showing Madison using one of the copied keys. Madison called David and gave him a progress report. She revealed that she had had Randi make her up to look like she had a black eye.
JR went to see Krystal, who blasted him for cheating on Marissa. JR said he had done what he felt he had to do. Krystal urged him to go home and get some rest; he complied. When Marissa came by, JR was surprised.
Thursday
In the park, Annie tried to fend off a mugger. Scott came to her rescue but let the guy get away with her purse. Annie explained that Adam had had her evicted. Scott insisted on taking her back to the mansion to tend to her injured ankle.
Marissa went to visit AJ and found a glum JR instead. JR had forgotten about his three-month cancer check-up. Marissa railed at him to attend to his health and admitted to him that she doesn't know if she can ever get back together with him. After she left, Scott and Annie showed up and JR tried to block Scott from letting Annie into the mansion. Scott declared that he was inviting Annie to move into the gatehouse. Marissa insisted on driving JR to his appointment. Once there, though, she left him to deal with his examination alone. Annie thanked Scott for riding to her rescue once again.
Tad and Ryan discussed the security footage of Madison breaking into a casino room. At Fusion, Randi put the finishing touches on Madison's faux black eye. Randi demanded to know what David was having her do. She explained David's plan to have her seduce Ryan. Ryan called Madison and she agreed to meet him at the yacht club. Ryan told Madison, who was wearing dark glasses, that he knew about her sleeping in the casino. He took off her glasses and demanded to know who hit her. Madison insisted that she'd just had an accident. Ryan followed Madison to the park after she ran off, upset. Madison felt guilty and told Ryan, "I can't do this to you."
Jack couldn't find the documents Greenlee left on his desk and realized that Erica must have taken them. Erica met with one of the Rio execs and foiled Greenlee's plan to save her packaging. Jack went to the yacht club to confront her. Erica copped to having sabotaged Greenlee's deal. Jack was livid. Erica told Jack that his daughter might be pregnant.
David told Greenlee that he accepted that she didn't want to have kids. She assured David of her commitment to their marriage. Jack came by to break the bad news about Erica foiling her contract. Greens accused Jack of being happy about Erica's victory, which he denied. Greens fumed when Jack revealed that Erica had told him about the pregnancy test. He was relieved that she wasn't expecting. Greens wanted Jack to help her get revenge. Greenlee warned her dad that at some point, he was going to have to choose between her and Erica.
David went to Fusion and Erica told him about how she had spoiled Greenlee's packaging efforts. David warned Erica that he planned to help Greenlee regain her footing. Erica told Randi that soon, they would have a lot to celebrate.
Friday
At the hospital, Marissa opened up to David about her fears over JR's health. JR's doc gave him an optimistic prognosis. Marissa went to BJ's and saw JR with a glass of alcohol. She downed it to stop him from drinking it. A tipsy Marissa told JR that she hates him.
At Fusion, Greenlee confronted Erica about her packaging sabotage. Greens made it clear that she wasn't throwing in the towel. Erica needled Greenlee about her pregnancy test. Greens said there was no bun in her oven. Greens went to see Jack, who continued to refuse to help her ruin Erica. Greens begged her father to get Erica out of town. Meanwhile, Erica told Opal what she had done to Greens and Opal was disapproving. Erica insisted that she needed to focus on her career, not Jack. Opal pleaded Jack's case. Opal got teary over how much she missed Palmer. Jack showed up and Opal made herself scarce. Erica told Jack that she was sorry. He said that he didn't accept her apology. She left and Opal rejoined Jack to defend Erica. He admitted that he loves Erica too much to walk away from her.
In the park, Madison revealed to Ryan that her black eye was fake. She explained how David had tried to blackmail her but wouldn't reveal what David had on her. Madison realized that Ryan had paid her back rent, not David. She then spilled the beans about how Henry died. Ryan promised to protect her from David. Madison went to Wildwind and told David that she was backing out of their deal. Ryan entered and David tried to paint Madison as a liar. David and Ryan bickered. Greenlee came in and secretly eavesdropped on the men's confrontation and heard Ryan passionately reiterating that he and Greenlee are completely finished. David ordered Ryan and Madison to leave. Ryan wondered what Greenlee would think of David's latest dirty trick. Greenlee then revealed her presence to her hubby and his uninvited guests.
Amanda railed at an unconscious Janet as Jake observed. Amanda assured a worried Jake that she was okay. Jake then sought advice from Frankie. Krystal visited Amanda at the loft. Trevor started crying and Amanda said that she wasn't going to go check on him. Amanda ignored a call from Jake and discovered that Trevor was burning up with fever.
