Angie was feeling frightened about the imminent birth of her baby. Tad, Jake and Amanda planned a party for Angie. Krystal, Jesse and Angie went to Jake's for the party.
Brot met up with Frankie and Randi at ConFusion and was overjoyed when Natalia showed up as a surprise. They all went to Jake's for the bash and Nat warmly reunited with Angie and Jesse. Angie got overwhelmed by everyone's well wishes and admitted to the group that she's scared. Jesse tried to reassure her in the hallway, but she broke down to him about her fear that she had made the wrong decision about carrying the baby to term. "Let me carry both of you," said Jesse. They went back into the room and a buoyed Angie thanked everyone for their love and support. Brot and Natalia went to Krystal's, where they discussed how things were going long-distance. Randi and Frankie got passionate in an elevator. Jake and Amanda went home and snuggled.
Ricky was befuddled when Cara revealed that she had won the date with him. Across the bar, Griffin tried to apologize to Kendall for making her want to end their date early. Cara brought Ricky to the hospital because she had bought the date for two widowed patients. Ricky tried to wriggle out of it but Cara wouldn't take no for an answer. Ricky grilled Cara about Griffin and Kendall's relationship. Things got rather heated between Cara and Ricky, who snapped at her for saying that Kendall and Griffin are good for each other. Tad came to fetch Cara. She wondered to her hubby about why Ricky was so hung up on Kendall and Griffin. Tad admitted that he'd felt possessive of her when he saw her with Ricky. Cara gave Tad his thank-you gift; he was greatly moved.
Griffin took Kendall to an outdoor location to continue their evening. Kendall tried to question Griffin about whether he's involved with anything shady. Griffin accused Kendall of trying to get him drunk; she covered and ended her inquiry. Kendall opened up to Griffin about her struggle to cope with Zach's death.

Asher watched Colby dance and sing around the living room (therapy post-breakup). Colby left to meet with the IT team at Krystal's. Asher got a call to meet the date who had purchased him at the bachelor auction. He went to Krystal's and found Colby, who had been stood up by the IT dudes. He sat down at her table, having concluded that she was his mystery date. Asher realized that it was a set-up and asked Colby to hang out anyway. She declined. Colby went home and made another video blog.
JR took Marissa home after her car broke down. She questioned why he was being so dogged in his pursuit of her. When Reese's lawyer called, she asked JR to drive her to see Bianca. They went to ConFusion and Marissa asked Bianca for permission to play hardball, as Reese's attorney was doing. Bianca refused. JR made a pitch for Bianca to see things Marissa's way and Binks relented. Marissa excused herself and JR told Bianca that he wants Marissa to trust him again. JR left and Bianca grilled Marissa about what's up with her and JR. Marissa told Bianca that she wants time to herself. The women bonded. JR came home to a bummed AJ, who said he missed his mommy. JR assured the boy that they would soon be a family again.
Caleb met Erica at the penthouse. She tried to convince him that there was nothing between them. He was bemused by her efforts. Caleb told Erica that his feelings for her weren't going away. Erica told Caleb to leave; he complied, but thought she would regret it. Caleb went to Krystal's and Asher called him out on having tried to set them up. Caleb denied that he was trying to control Asher. Asher apologized for losing his cool.
Jack mistook Krystal for Erica at the yacht and pulled her close. He apologized and explained that Erica was meeting with Caleb to reestablish the boundaries between them. Krystal left and promptly fell in the water. He took her inside to change. Erica returned to the yacht and was not amused by Krystal clad only in Jack's shirt. The women had words. Jack heard Erica telling Krystal to stop wasting her time pursuing Jack. He scowled at her. Erica told Jack she wanted to get married that night.
Jesse surprised Angie with a trip to the justice of the peace parlor where they had first wed. After some romantic reminiscing, Angie gasped — she'd felt a contaction! She assured Jesse that it was nothing to worry about. But her contractions intensified and she started to collapse in pain. "Something is wrong!" she screamed.

Erica pitched to Jack the idea of them marrying that night. After a frank talk, Jack got on board.
Caleb joined Marissa and Bianca at ConFusion. Caleb was pleased, having just had a good encounter with Asher. Meanwhile, JR confirmed to Asher that he had bought him the date with Colby. AJ called Marissa to ask her to kiss him goodnight. Marissa asked to talk to JR, who swore he had nothing to do with it. Caleb told Bianca that he'd just had a date with her mom. Bianca raised an eyebrow. Marissa capitulated to AJ's wishes and left for the mansion. At the house, Marissa saw a contract indicating that JR was offering Reese a job. He explained that he was trying to help, thinking that if Reese took the gig she would drop the custody bid. Charmed, Marissa agreed to stick around for a board game.
Jack went to ConFusion to confront Caleb and to warn him that Erica is his. Bianca went to see Erica about her time with Caleb. Binks was shocked when Erica said she and Jack were marrying that night. She sternly told Erica that she didn't want Jack or Caleb to get hurt.
Caleb went to the mansion to return something Asher had left behind and had words with JR. Bianca called Marissa, who assured her that she could handle JR.
Brot was on patrol when a young woman spied his car. Crying, she left a box in the car. Asher ran into her in the park and asked her if she was okay.
Angie was in excruciating pain and told Jesse that she was going to have the baby then and there. Jesse went in search of help; Angie spoke to her baby and begged her to hold on. Brot heard Jesse's distress call. Jesse prepped to deliver the baby. Angie passed out mid-delivery and Jesse delivered the baby — but she wasn't breathing. Brot arrived as Jesse worked frantically to save the child's life — but the child was stillborn. Jesse cradled Ellie's body in his arms. Brot tried to comfort Jesse and assured him that it wasn't his fault. Brot begged Jesse to let him help him. A baby began to cry and Brot went over to the box that the girl had left in his car. He explained to Jesse that someone had left the baby there. Angie came to and heard the baby's cries. "Ellie?" she asked. Jesse broke down sobbing again.
Jack and Erica reunited on the yacht. He told her that instead of marrying that night, he wanted them to set sail for St. Bart's and marry there on the beach. She happily agreed.

Brot showed Jesse the baby that had been abandoned in his squad car. Angie woke up and when she heard the baby crying, she thought it was Ellie. With a heavy heart, Brot and Jesse wordlessly made the decision to switch the babies. Angie cuddled "her" newborn. Brot revealed his presence. A shell-shocked Jesse and Brot consulted privately. Brot agreed to take care of Ellie's body.
Asher ran into Maya, the young mother. He insisted on driving her home and told her that he worked for JR and could offer her aid if she needed it. Alone in her room, Maya wept.
Greenlee sensed a change in Kendall and wondered if Griffin was responsible. Griffin told Cara about his evening. Kendall and Griffin then ran into each other at ConFusion. She told him that she was working to expedite the sale of the casinos and he'd soon have the money he needed for the Miranda Center. He noted that once he had the money, he'd be leaving town. They both seemed less than thrilled. Greens fretted about the state of her relationship with Emma.
Cara got a call about Angie and phoned Jake, cutting short his romantic evening with Amanda. The Martins raced to the hospital, where they examined Angie and the baby and Jesse tried to deflect their questions. Frankie and Randi arrived to meet the new Hubbard. Cara was concerned by her examination of Angie and warned the new mom, "Something isn't right." Jesse winced. Cara told Angie that she had likely suffered a placental abruption and that the baby's survival was a miracle. The Hubbards (including Natalia) and Brot came in to see the baby. Cara couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to the birthing story than she'd been told. She went to Jake and Amanda's to talk to Jake. He wanted to wait until the morning and she agreed. Brot and Jesse talked again and Brot agreed to take Jesse to where he had taken Ellie. At the site of her burial, Jesse wept and begged for his baby's forgiveness.

As Kendall walked in the park, she flashed back to Griffin giving her a scarf. Kendall was unaware Ricky was following her. She returned the scarf to Griffin at the hospital. He told her to keep it and examined his patient. Kendall thanked Griffin for the previous night and for putting things into perspective for her. After Kendall left, she headed to Fusion, where Ricky "popped by" and asked how her night went. Kendall spoke glowingly of her talk with Griffin, stating the first thing she was going to do was fire her attorney. Ricky said she may want to proceed slowly.
Tad came home with balloons and a "Taddy Bear" for Cara. She thought it was cute but said she had to go call Jake. At their home, Jake gave Amanda a foot rub but had to run off to work, much to her chagrin. Cara called for Jake; Amanda said he was busy and hung up.
At PVH, Angie bonded with the baby when Brot and a cop entered. Brot stated that the baby's real mother came forward and they had to return her. The cop snatched the baby from Angie's arms. As Angie cried, Jesse bolted awake: it was just a nightmare. In her hospital bed, Angie woke up and asked where their baby was. She then heard the little girl in a nearby bassinet. Angie asked to hold her again. Jesse lovingly placed the baby in Angie's arms. Angie stated that despite the risky birth, she knew God would never take their baby away from them. Jesse shed a silent tear. Brot stopped by to talk to Jesse. In the hall, Brot calmed Jesse, noting that the baby deserved a loving home. In Angie's room, the baby started crying from the bassinet. Angie made her way out of bed and reached the baby and picked her up. Natalia arrived to check on Angie, who was doing fine. Natalia then went to see Jesse and Brot. She called Brot her hero and gave him a kiss. Jesse returned to Angie, who was proud of getting to the baby on her own. "She has a light around her even I can see," Angie smiled. Angie then questioned naming her Eleanor, saying it didn't feel right. Angie wanted to use it for her middle name instead. Angie suggested Lucille, noting that it stood for light and clarity. Just then, Tad arrived with the bear and balloons, and Amanda followed with flowers. Tad hugged Jesse and noted this must be the happiest day of his life. "Yeah," the guilt-ridden Jesse sighed.
Cara spoke with Griffin and suggested perhaps they both stick around Pine Valley for a while. Griffin said domesticity was not for him. Cara wondered if someone else might be able to change his mind. Amanda caught up with Cara and said, "You need to remember which Martin you're married to." Jake saw the exchange. Jake and Amanda went home for lunch and Amanda mentioned the early morning call; Jake was a little miffed that Amanda hung up on Cara and didn't tell him. At their place, Tad could see Cara was upset. Tad got Cara to laugh. She thanked him and agreed to help put together baby furniture for Jesse. Later, Tad stopped by with Cara on his way to Jesse's and asked Jake and Amanda for help with the baby furniture. Jake quietly shook his head but Tad was oblivious.
Kendall arrived at Griffin's hotel room, where Sarah was coming on to Griff. Kendall pretended to be his girlfriend to get Sarah to leave. The ruse worked. Griffin thanked Kendall. When he suggested they drink the champagne Sarah left, Kendall said she had a meeting and took off.... Ricky went to report back to Diana. She said it was time to end this. Ricky lost his temper and said they would be doing things his way.... Angie heard Jesse with the baby as he sighed, "Oh, Angela." "Jesse, what's wrong?" Angie asked.
