AMC Week of July 26, 2010
Monday
Damon and Colby arrived in New York. Colby was psyched about seeing her dad and was crushed when Adam sent an emissary to inform her that he was unable to make it. When Adam called, she hung up on him. Damon tried to console her and after exchanging "I love you's," they made love for the first time.
Tad sought help from Jesse in finding Damon. Jesse was floored when Tad told him about Damon kissing Liza.
Liza got more sugar pills from Damon to swap with his real meds. Liza evaded David's questions about her relationship with Tad and probed him about things with Greenlee after hearing about Ryan's aneurysm. Liza went over to the Martin house and learned from Tad that Damon and Colby had gone to New York. Adam called Liza about Colby's hang-up. Tad and Liza went to New York and walked in on their respective kids' post-sack session. Liza asked for time alone with Colby and explained that bad weather had grounded Adam's plane. Colby defended her relationship with Damon to Liza. Meanwhile, Tad chastised Damon in the hallway about kissing Liza. Damon tried to defend himself and divulged to Tad that Liza had come on to him. Tad didn't believe him so Damon showed him the camera phone pics. Colby ran off and Tad confronted Liza with the picture.
Greenlee went to the hospital to see Ryan; Madison was already at his bedside. Madison told Ryan that he had mentioned Greenlee's name in his sleep. Greens beat a hasty retreat when she spied Madison with him. Frankie told Greenlee that Madison would take care of Ryan. Angie went to see Ryan and told him that Greenlee had brought him to the hospital. Jesse went to the hospital and after hearing about David's proximity to Ryan when Ryan collapsed, Jesse wanted to try to pin Ryan's condition on David. Angie told Jesse about having frozen when Ryan was first admitted. She wanted Jesse to drop his vendetta against David. Ryan thanked Greenlee for saving his life as David observed angrily from the hallway. Later, when David entered, Ryan's condition took a turn for the worse. Frankie ordered them out as Greenlee snapped at David for coming near Ryan. After Ryan was stable, Greens returned to his room, but didn't enter when she spied him canoodling with Madison. She went home and apologized to David for losing her temper. Greens told David that she needed time apart from him to process everything that had happened since she'd been back in town.
Angie recorded an update on her condition. She felt hopeful that the medicine was working.
Tuesday
Damon challenged Liza to tell Tad the truth about the night he took the semi-nude pics of her. Damon was floored when Liza made up a story about Damon trying to seduce her. Unaware of the battle happening back in the hallway, Colby called Adam and told him that she and Damon are in love. After Damon's blow-up with Tad and Liza, he tore off and rejoined Colby.... When Liza revealed to Tad that the photos had been taken the night before Jake and Amanda's wedding, Tad recalled that he had been drunk and she had not been (which contradicted the story she'd told Tad). Tad caught on to Liza's trickery and told her that she had put Damon's fibbing to shame. Damon told Colby that he would leave Pine Valley with her on the condition that they didn't come back.
Greenlee told David that she wants time apart. She explained her reasons for feeling that she needed a break from their marriage. He asked her to have one final dinner with him before she left.
Madison and Ryan received a hospital visit from Bianca. Madison went to chat with Frankie as Ryan and Bianca caught up and agreed that they had seen a flicker of the old Greenlee in Greens lately. Binks told Ryan that she approved of Madison, then went to Fusion, where she told Greens that she had just come from seeing Ryan. Greens divulged to Bianca that she was looking for an apartment of her own.
David went to see Ryan and Ryan observed that Hayward seemed off. When Bianca came back to see him, Ryan told her about the visit and Bianca told Ryan about Greenlee's solo apartment search.
David went to the yacht club and helped Greenlee get ready for their dinner. When they sat down for their meal, he told her that there was nothing that he wouldn't do for her. He told her that she was making a bad decision and he hoped that she would reconsider it. He presented her with a purse. Inside was a new phone. She was confused. He reminded her that the investigation into the plane crash was still ongoing and revealed that he had framed her to look responsible for hiring the mechanic that tampered with Erica's plane — but wouldn't hand the info over to the authorities if she stayed in the marriage.
Wednesday
Colby and Damon returned to Pine Valley with plans to leave again, for good. Damon opened up to Colby about everything he had been going through lately.
Tad told Liza that he planned to go after Damon. Liza copped to setting Damon up to try to break up Damon and Colby. A huge blow-up ensued between Tad and Liza. “We're done,” spat Tad before storming out. Liza went to the Chandler mansion and called out for Colby, but she wasn't there. Likewise, Tad failed to find Damon at the Martin house. Meanwhile, Damon and Colby smooched at Krystal's and pored over a map. Damon ignored calls from Tad and covered up the real reason to Colby. Damon felt bad when Kathy reminded him that he promised to go to her upcoming swim meet.
Frankie examined Ryan. Frankie was snippy with Ryan, thinking that he may be playing Madison. Madison brought Emma to see her daddy. Ryan made a few memory slips that concerned Madison. Ryan covered up to Madison that he had Greenlee on the brain.
Randi surprised Frankie, having returned home from Italy. The Hubbards raced home to get passionate. Randi got a call about another job. Randi and Frankie resumed their sack session on the couch; Madison's unexpected return interrupted the moment. Randi got more calls about more gigs and Madison told Frankie about Ryan's memory lapse.
Greenlee was furious with David for trying to blackmail her into staying in their marriage. He insisted that he was doing it out of love. Greens proclaimed him to be a son of a bitch and stormed out, but he was confident that he would see her back in their room. Greens did go back to the room, but didn't stay long. When David got back, he found Greenlee's wedding ring. David went back to the restaurant and Liza accosted him to find out if he'd seen Colby; he hadn't. Greenlee went to see Ryan and hedged at confirming to him that she was leaving David.
Thursday
Amanda seduced Jake. Meanwhile, Jesse worked on nailing David for the plane crash. Angie entered and got a call from her doctor, who said he had an urgent need to talk to her. Jesse was disgruntled with Angie for needing to leave. She privately phoned Jake, who agreed to go meet Angie, much to Amanda's dismay. At the hospital, Jake and Angie talked with Angie's specialist. The doc said that the medicine was helping to slow down Angie's visual deterioration, but the doc had other news as well: Angie's pregnant! She was overjoyed until she realized that if she was going to carry the baby to term, she'd have to stop taking her eyesight meds.
Bianca left a message for Reese. David saw Greenlee talking to Ryan in his hospital room. Ryan noted that she wasn't wearing her wedding ring. David called one of his minions and told them to get Greens away from Ryan. Bianca encountered David, who told her that he and Greenlee weren't splitting up. David got in a dig about the possible state of Bianca's marriage. Brot entered Ryan's room with instructions to bring Greenlee down to the station. Greenlee was panicked, but went to the station, where Mayor Blanco explained that she is the one who had summoned her and her "accomplice," David. Iris said that she just wanted to express her gratitude to Greenlee and David for their support. Iris said that if Jesse did produce a case against David, she would use her influence to get it dismissed. They returned to the yacht club, where a livid Greens let it be known that he couldn't romance her back into submission.
Bianca and Ryan had a heart-to-heart about Greenlee and Binks broke the news that according to David, Greenlee and David weren't splitting up. Binks got emotional and insisted to Ryan that everything was fine with her and Reese.... David forced Greenlee's wedding ring back on her finger and commanded her to keep it there. "I need a shower," she spat, heading to the bathroom. David answered Greenlee's cell; it was Ryan. He told Greens that Ryan was on the line. She took the phone and told Ryan that she's fine.
Jesse went to the station to see Natalia. Nat talked Jesse into going to Krystal's. There, Amanda commiserated with Jesse about their workaholic spouses. Nat went back to work and found out from Brot that he is about to go to the hospital for another surgery on his eye. She told Brot that she cares about him.
Angie admitted to Jake that it was time to tell Jesse the truth. Jesse and Amanda showed up at the hospital to "kidnap" Jake and Angie. They all went back to the loft and when Angie rejected wine, Amanda teased that people will think she's pregnant. "Are you?" queried Jesse. She confirmed it and the foursome all became teary. Jesse was astounded and ecstatic.
Friday
While Miranda was chatting up Caleb, Bianca read a Twitter post from Erica about how her vacation with Jackson was going. "A tweet," Caleb harumphed. Bianca asked how Caleb knows her grandma, and he explained that Erica fell out of the sky onto his house. He pretended not to have any interest in seeing Erica's Twitpics and excused himself to look over some paperwork. When Bianca explained to the technophobe what a Tweet is, Caleb remarked that she's a smart little girl. "I like you, too," Bianca smiled.
While JR was trying to comfort Marissa after she flaked on her bar exam, Annie interrupted to request a moment alone with Marissa. She apologized for what happened with JR and begged her to put the past behind them, pointing out that she's moving on with Scott but is still going to be a Chandler. Scott, meanwhile, barged in on a work powwow between Caleb and Bianca to broker a peace offering between the Cortlandt and Chandler families over dinner. Caleb was unimpressed, but didn't exactly turn him down.
After sharing the news of Angie's pregnancy with Jesse and Amanda, Jake privately assured a concerned Angie that everything would be all right, then headed out to dinner with Amanda. Jesse excitedly starting coming up with baby names, but Angie's face betrayed her anxiety. Jesse asked what it is that's bothering her so much and assumed it was work-related. Angie braced herself as she prepared to tell him about her virus, but Trevor's crying interrupted the moment. While Jesse was out of the room, she glanced at something across the room that only resembled a white light. As she watched Jesse hold the child, her eyesight became severely compromised and she was forced to tell him that she can't see. While Amanda and Jake dined at Krystal's, she could tell that something was troubling him about Angie's condition. Without giving away details, Jake explained that Angie may not be able to carry the baby to term.
After failing to win Marissa over, Annie went to the country club to meet her wedding planner, who ended up not showing. Just as she was looking over her divorce papers, JR stopped by her table on his way to a business meeting. Annie showed him the papers, announcing that she and his father are officially divorced. She ran down her list of failed marriages and admitted that it was the security that she loved so much about her marriage to Adam. JR asked what Annie's getting out of her marriage to Scott. He loves her for who she is, Annie declared. Just then, she received the call she'd been waiting for. It was Adam, who berated her for even trying to contact him. JR grabbed the phone away and jumped to her defense, which only made his father hang up. Meanwhile, Scott tried to make Marissa see that Annie's intentions toward her were sincere.
