Monday
Some awkwardness ensued the morning after Tad and Liza made love when Jake accidentally spied her naked. Liza got dressed and left. Opal grilled Krystal about whether she was okay about Tad and Liza's relationship, which she said she was. Krystal got a call from her architect beau, Rob. Krystal left; someone spied on Opal from outside. Tad and Liza went back to her place; Bailey reported that she didn't know where Damon was.... Jake and Amanda went home and she gave him a present to celebrate the DNA test results.... Opal heard a noise from outside; the lights went out.
Adam presented his new will to his family. Annie was aghast at the conditions that applied to her and huffed that he clearly didn't love her. Adam made her read it aloud to the rest of his family. It stated that Annie would get most of his estate in the event of his death — provided that she did not remarry. Adam started to explain his reasons for a merit trust but JR blustered that it was perfectly clear: Adam wanted to continue controlling his relatives from the grave. JR stalked off. Adam pleaded with Marissa to bring him back. Colby also left, followed by Scott. They went to ConFusion, where Scott advised Colby to worry less about the family and focus more on her social life.... Marissa defended Adam to JR. Colby came by to cry on JR's shoulder and to seek reassurance that he would never leave her.... Adam convinced Annie that he loved her and was simply trying to protect her from gold-diggers who might come after her after he's gone. Adam clarified that any long-term relationship (not just marriage) she entered into after Adam's demise would jeopardize her inheritance. After Adam left the room, Scott entered. They discussed Adam's bombshell and tried to ignore the sexual tension between them.
Brot and Natalia worked on the strange break-in case. Brot thought that Natalia's theory that the work was that of a serial killer but then Damon's boss, Pierre, entered, having been attacked. He reported to Jesse that Damon hadn't come to work that night. They got a report of another break-in at Tad's and Jesse, Brot and Natalia left the police station in a hurry. Tad comforted Opal, who was shaken by the break-in but otherwise okay. Jesse and Brot were baffled to find a copy of Hayley's documentary at the crime scene. Liza phoned to make sure everyone was okay. Just then, Damon entered Liza's place with a bloody hand, which did not escape Liza's notice.
Tuesday
At the police station, Brot and Natalia discussed the mystery attack and wondered why a burglar would have been carrying around Haley's documentary. Jesse arrived and thought it might be an inside job. Jesse then wondered about the possibility of Damon being a suspect.
At the Martin house, Liza asked Tad if Damon seemed to be acting strangely. Liza didn't believe his story about how he cut his hand on the ice; Tad pointed out that if Damon's not guilty, then he has nothing to worry about. When Tad threatened to call Jesse, Liza asked to talk to Damon first.
Angie was supportive of Madison seeking therapy. Madison assured Angie that she's got a new lease on life.
At the women's center, Frankie was supportive of Randi's new job. He mentioned that working with Madison can't be easy for her and noted that Randi's working hard to impress Erica. Randi was supportive of Madison. Just then, Madison arrived and put Randi to work talking to one of the new arrivals. Randi was nervous but introduced herself. Later, Madison handed Randi a tissue and was happy with the job she did. Randi was moved and went back to Fusion. Madison advised that if Randi wanted Erica to notice her, she needed to learn to speak up.
Ryan came to Erica's office with vacation brochures. As Ryan rambled, Erica remained silent. "You're trying too hard," Erica said, suggesting that Ryan's going overboard to try and forget Greenlee on Valentine's Day.
During rehab, Greenlee was furious with Erica claiming credit for saving Fusion. Greens pushed herself too hard during her workout and suffered a cramp. David was furious at the nurse but Greenlee said it wasn't her fault. David pointed out that Greenlee must avoid stress if she wants to walk back into Ryan's life. It was just a pulled muscle, the test results proved. Greenlee couldn't get past her anger towards Erica. As Greens had dinner, she reminisced about her days at Fusion and couldn't believe that Kendall would allow Erica to take over. Later, Greenlee dreamed of being married to Ryan, as David watched her sleep. David vowed to be there for her and pick up the pieces when Greens learns the truth about Ryan and Erica.
Liza went to see Damon and demanded to know he he hurt his hand. When she asked him point blank if he was the burglar, Damon accused Liza of wanting him out of Bailey and Stuart's lives. Jesse arrived to talk to Tad about the theft. Just then, Damon stormed out, followed by Liza. Jesse asked Damon to accompany him to the station. Liza said he wasn't going anywhere without his attorney. She followed them out and shot Tad a dirty look. At the police station, Damon insisted he skipped work to listen to a band play. Jesse noticed blue paint on his shoes. Liza stated that means nothing and ordered Damon to be released. Damon took off. Liza returned home, where Bailey was in tears. She took baby Stuart and left. "Thanks a lot," Liza told Tad.
Angie met up with Frankie at the hospital, where they discussed Randi and Madison's thaw. Frankie asked his mother why she and Jesse were working so much and suggested they make time for each other. "I'm the mother," Angie pointed out. "I give the advice." At the police station, Natalia ordered Jesse to go home and be with "wifey." At home, Jesse and Angie realized they needed to make more time to be together but neither wanted to step down from their jobs. They tabled the conversation for now and kissed. Then, Angie got beeped. She was called to the hospital for a bus crash; Jesse went back to work.
Erica listened to Val's new ad pitch, which missed the mark. "Take this back to marketing," Erica insisted "It's not working." When Val failed again at a campaign idea, Randi spoke up and suggested they use real women for the campaign, possibly women from the Miranda Center. Erica and Ryan loved the idea. Randi was thrilled.
Wednesday
Kathy made an art project for a beaming Tad. Tad and Krystal talked about Tad implicating Damon as the robber and the fight he and Liza had had as a result. Krystal advised him to fight for his relationship with Liza.
Adam met with a candidate for an internship at Chandler that he wanted to set up with Colby. Annie suggested that he should let his daughter manage her own love life. Colby met with Brot at the police station to retrieve her stolen car. Back at the house, an alarm sounded. It turned out to be a glitch in the security system. Scott finished up interviewing the candidate as Colby returned home. Adam hired the guy on the spot, giving Scott pause, in an effort to sell the gent, Chase, to Colby. Colby blasted Adam for interfering. Adam, Scott and Annie discussed what Adam had done; Scott and Annie continued their conversation after Adam left. Annie opined that everyone in the Chandler family has a price, even Scott.
Damon tried to get Bailey to leave town with him. Liza showed up and Bailey defended her to an upset Damon. Liza told Damon that she wanted to get to know him. Bailey pleaded with him to stay in town. Brot and Natalia showed up to question Damon. Bailey came by the Martin house to ask Krystal to watch the baby so that she could go to the police station, where Damon and Liza had gone. Damon all but attacked a witness who claimed not to have seen him, shooting down his alibi. Liza talked Jesse into not detaining Damon overnight. Natalia was upset that Jesse had let Damon go. She and Brot went to ConFusion, where Nat vented her frustration. Brot walked out on her for "wallowing" but he rejoined her at the movie theater and he made her laugh....
Tad went to the police station, where Liza and Bailey expected Damon to undergo a DNA test to prove that he isn't the burglar. He and Liza made up.
After her squabble with Adam, Colby went upstairs and found her window open. Shortly thereafter, she found Damon crouching behind a chair. He begged her to let him hide out there. When Adam knocked on Colby's bedroom door, she froze.
Thursday
Jesse stopped by the Chandler manse to find out who called 911. Meanwhile, Adam went to pay Colby a visit to apologize for their rift earlier. Damon hid and begged her not to reveal that he was there. Colby tried to shoo her pop out. He promised that he wasn't trying to set her up with Chase and assured her that she'll find a great guy soon. They shared a sweet moment and she ushered Adam to the door. Colby promised him that she wouldn't refuse a guy just because Dad likes him. After Adam left, Damon reappeared. Colby urged him not to bail on Bailey and the baby; he listed the reasons why he should, citing his bad boy behavior. Colby told him all the bad things she's done in her past but said that her family wouldn't let her jump ship no matter what.
Jake and Frankie took a load off work by enjoying a sixer of beer together. They groused about how David has interrupted their lives. Jake urged Frankie to return to physical therapy. Frankie was upset about being known around the hospital as the boss's son, noting that Angie is now signing his paychecks. He wanted to get out. Jake encouraged him to let it go, adding, "We're the lucky ones."
Greenlee was still weak but got up from her hospital bed and told the nurse she's ready to go home tonight. When David entered, Greens pleaded her case and showed Hayward that she can walk and is ready to reunite with Ryan. He refused to let her go home, however. They bickered. Greens listed all the reasons why she deserves to be released. David claimed she's not strong enough. She demanded a doc examine her. David relented but worried to Gayle about Greens finding out the truth about what's really going on in Pine Valley. Gayle urged Greens to be patient.
At Fusion, Erica was excited about the Miranda Center fund raiser. She and Ryan approached Randi and Madison, who were supposed to be setting things but instead were poring over a splashy front-page tabloid item about Erica's romance with Ryan. La Kane wasn't pleased but tried to focus on the event. Ryan assured her nothing would ruin their big night. Erica thanked Randi for the event idea; Randi gave Madison the credit. Later, Erica gave
the girls pointers on how to address the press should a reporter sneak in. Madison was worried about talking to the public and hesitant about discussing her abuse history. Later, she finally agreed to do it for Erica.
Adam returned home to address Jesse's questioning about the emergency call. Annie was shocked to hear about Fusion's big party and miffed that they weren't invited. Adam informed her that he declined the invite because he didn't think Annie would be interested; she was determined to crash it and prove there's no bad blood between Erica, Ryan and the Chandler clan. Scott advised Annie against going to the party, suggesting that it reeks of desperation.
Ryan returned home to change for the party and paused when he saw the full moon outside his window. He then went to go pick up Erica for the party. She admitted she's disturbed by the tabloid headline and wondered what Emma would think if she saw it. Ryan asked if La Kane was trying to say something else. She wanted to continue to keep their romance secret to avoid more criticism. Meanwhile, Greens had yet another vision of knocking on Ryan's door and happily revealing that she's alive and back. She told Gayle that she's starting to think there's something David's not telling her. Outside, Dr. Clayton informed David that Greenlee's MRI shows that she's had too much physical stress and they need to stop the therapy. He said she needs to go on bed rest. David was concerned about Greenlee's response to the news.
Annie went to recruit Colby to go to the party. Colby wasn't happy about it but went anyway. She told Damon he has a choice to make regarding his life but told him to work things out with his kid. Later, Damon sneaked into the Chandler manse and
Back at Fusion, Randi and Madison struck a deal about who should get credit for the party and decided to be friendly competitors for the evening. Jesse arrived to sample the hors d'oeuvres when he spied the tabloid. Annie and David arrived with Colby. Annie was annoyed that there was no paparazzi. Colby was miffed that Chase was there and accused her dad of extending him an invite.
Having overheard David and Gayle chatting in the hall outside her room, Greenlee fled the hospital. David was outraged when he saw that she'd taken money and all the other necessities to get her back home.
Friday
At ConFusion, the launch party for the Miranda line kicked off, and most of Pine Valley was there.
Colby accused Adam of inviting her old beau to the bash as a set up, then was angry when the beau had a girlfriend. Colby then went to Liza and Tad and complained about the stipulations against her in Adam's new will. Liza walked over to Adam to read him the riot act. She lectured Adam about needing to have control and declared she'd fight the will in court. Adam countered by saying if Liza took the matter to court, Colby would get nothing.
On a plane, Greenlee took her meds and told her seat mate she was determined to get back to Pine Valley.
Alone, Ryan asked Erica why she didn't want people to know the truth about them. "Whatever we have, it belongs to us," Erica explained. She was concerned about the paparazzi but Ryan asked why she thought they were destined to fail. Erica avoided the conversation noting they had a party to go to — separately.
Back at the bash, Frankie was worried about the growing distance between Angie and Jesse. Meanwhile, Angie confided in Krystal that things were stained with her and Jesse. Krystal reminded Angie that she and Jesse were "the real deal." Tad walked over to Jesse and asked what was up with him and Angie. Jesse admitted they were having work issues. Tad said it was okay for them to arrive separately, but they shouldn't leave the same way.
Erica and Ryan went to the party separately. Ryan tried to talk to Erica, but she had to address the press. After a heartfelt speech about the non-profit line, reporters began to grill Erica and Ryan about their relationship. Both she and Ryan deflected their questions and when she was done, Erica rushed off the stage.
Greenlee arrived in Pine Valley and went to Ryan's, but he wasn't home. She found a drawing by Emma and smiled. She then found a box, looked in it and said, "Oh, my God." Greens then felt some pain and reached for her meds. She turned on the TV and saw the report about the party. She then lit some candles and relaxed on the couch. Unable to stay still, she turned on the TV again and watched the party coverage. The reporter mentioned Ryan's name.
Tad had a chat with Krystal and made her smile. Liza eyed them from across the room.... Jesse approached Angie and asked her to go home with him. She happily accepted.... Adam got the call about a break-in at the Chandler mansion.
Security arrived at the Chandler mansion, where the the alarms were going off. They didn't see anyone, but Damon was hiding out. Colby arrived home, and the team said they were going to alert Adam but they saw no one. Upstairs, Damon confronted Colby and said, "It wasn't me." Meanwhile, Adam arrived home and instructed security to call the police. Upstairs, Damon told Colby he saw the intruder but didn't see his face. He then claimed he got knocked out. "Say you believe me," he implored Colby.
Erica went to her office; Ryan followed. Erica confessed she's scared to go public because of scrutiny but Ryan suggested that it might make them more accountable in their relationship. He then pulled her into a kiss.
Angie and Jesse got home and he gave Angie a foot rub. Jesse said he was going to make a concentrated effort not to work so much, but when he turned to his wife, Angie was asleep.... Liza walked over to Tad and asked him to take her to his place.... Adam wanted to go talk to Colby but Annie advised him not to. Colby allowed Damon to spend the night, on the floor — and not to snore.
