AMC Week of February 18, 2008
Monday
Erica welcomed everyone to the Go Red fashion show. Colby strutted down the runway. Next up was Ava. Backstage, Greenlee told Aidan Kendall's secret: She may be pregnant. She told him she wasn't telling Zach, so he couldn't say anything. He wondered why Kendall wasn't telling Zach, and Greenlee agreed it was weird that she didn't want the father to know. Adam couldn't believe that JR was really going to give his bone marrow to Richie. Once Adam was alone, Krystal laid into him for giving JR the spy ring. Tad interrupted, and Krystal managed to cover. When Babe realized JR was in the crowd, she told Amanda she was going to wear the dress she was originally supposed to model — she needed something from JR, and that dress was going to help her get it. Zach told Kendall about his confrontation with Ryan at Cambias. Meanwhile Ryan was talking to Annie backstage. Jack found Erica and asked to talk to her for a minute. He wanted to know what Samuel Woods was doing out there. She thought he was just being jealous. Greenlee interrupted their conversation and sent her back out on stage to emcee. Erica introduced Samuel Woods, much to Jack's dismay. Next she announced Corrina as she sashayed down the runway. Babe came out in a low-cut dress and blew a kiss directly to JR. Greenlee told Annie it was time for her to change into her dress, and she was forced to leave Ryan with her. Greenlee and Ryan talked about Zach, and he wondered how close she'd actually gotten to Zach. She said they had gotten close as friends — just like Aidan and Kendall. Amanda walked the runway while JR met Babe backstage, and asked if she needed help unzipping her dress. Babe flirted away as he undid her zipper and she turned to face him as she let her top fall. After she put on her robe, they both confessed they had something to tell the other. Babe told him she knew he was a donor match for Richie, and she had a proposition for him. She suggested they do some of the wild things they used to do, but before she could get more specific, Ava came over and told her it was time to get ready for the finale, and JR had to leave to let her change.
Aidan asked Kendall how she was doing. She could tell that Greenlee had told him that she might be pregnant. She let him know that if she was there was no way the baby was his, and blew him off. Zach approached Aidan and offered to buy him a beer. Samuel Woods handed Erica a check for the cause which she gratefully accepted. Pam came over to warn Erica the lights needed to be fixed, and Samuel offered to speak to the crowd to kill some time while they fixed them. Erica was again appreciative. Next out were Annie and Emma, who walked out as Ryan looked on. Next, Erica called out Kendall and Greenlee, congratulated them on their work, and said how happy she was that their lives were back to normal. After Zach and Aidan finished their beers and watched the end of the show, Zach told him he was worried about Ryan. When Aidan asked why, Zach told him it was because if Ryan tried something with Kendall he was going to kill him. He walked away, leaving Aidan thinking back on his night with Kendall. Adam introduced himself to Samuel Woods, and wondered what he was doing there. Woods wouldn't let him in on all his reasons for being there. Jack approached him and asked what he wanted from Erica, but he slipped away, saying it was show time. Back on stage, Greenlee and Kendall thanked everyone, and presented the grand finale featuring Erica. Woods made a call saying, "Let's do it." Zach stood next to Ryan as Annie made her final walk down the runway. Zach pointed her out to Ryan and told him how great she looked. Erica modeled the final dress while Jack got a disturbing call. After the show, Annie asked Ryan to take her home, but he wanted to stay. Meanwhile, Erica took questions from reporters. Jack came out and tried to get her off the stage, but she told him the show wasn't over yet. Woods pushed through the crowd and told her he was afraid it was — she was under arrest.
Angie couldn't believe Jesse was standing in front of her. She fell into his arms with tears of joy. He told her they couldn't stay there, they had to leave. But she was such a mess she could barely speak. He finally got her to leave with him, and took her to their abandoned shack in the woods. They began kissing and talking about their past. Angie knew he had something bad to tell her, but she begged him to wait, and to give her this one night to have her dream. Jesse tried to leave, but Angie told him she wasn't letting him go again.
Tuesday
Jesse told Angie it was too dangerous for him to be with her. Angie locked the door and demanded he tell her what happened 20 years ago. Jesse recalled he didn't think he was going to make it that day. He remembered hearing Angie saying goodbye, and then he woke up in a room, where men beat him when he didn't give them what they wanted. She looked at the scars on his back and cried. He told her that was what those people did, and she couldn't get caught up in it. Angie and Jesse emotionally fell into each other's arms and made love. After, she touched the scars on his back and asked him to tell her about them.
Erica told the crowd the arrest was obviously a mistake. Samuel Woods told her she was charged with insider trading as they took her away. Kendall tried to cover for the cameras. After they cut, Kendall ran to Erica's side, and Erica insisted she go to the ConFusion party. Ryan approached Kendall, but Zach stopped him and offered him a ride to the party. Zach consoled Kendall, while Greenlee expressed her concern to Aidan that the stress wouldn't be good for the baby. Aidan said Kendall told him she wasn't pregnant and Greenlee was upset to find out Aidan had said something to her.
Down at the police station, Woods walked in and Erica pounced. After she left for her mug shot, Jack also gave him a hard time. Jack asked why Woods felt the need to arrest Erica so publicly. Woods had no real answers. Erica came back and clearly had more in store for Woods, but Jack pulled her aside and told her to keep her mouth shut. Annoyed, Erica told Jack she would no longer needed his services as her lawyer — he was fired. She then proceeded to talk to Woods without an attorney present. Erica suggested she had something that he wanted; something that money couldn't buy. She asked if he was interested. Then she offered her endorsement for his campaign. He shook on it. He left the room and came back in with officers to bring her to her cell. The charges had been changed. She was now going to be charged with bribing a public official as well!
At ConFusion, Zach, Kendall, Aidan and Greenlee sat down. When Aidan and Zach went to get drinks, Kendall gave Greenlee a hard time about telling Aidan she might be pregnant. Greenlee suggested she take the test already.
Annie and Ryan arrived, and joined Kendall, Zach, Aidan and Greenlee. Annie made a toast to memories, and Ryan pulled her away from the table to talk.
She angrily walked away. Zach consoled her. Meanwhile, Ryan chatted up Kendall, and told her about how amazing it was to meet Spike. Annie came back over with her coat on and asked if Ryan was ready to leave with her. He said he wanted to stay and she left alone. Kendall finally went to take the pregnancy test. Zach asked Greenlee and Aidan if they knew where she was, and they both denied knowing. Meanwhile in the bathroom, Kendall waited on the test results. As they appeared she began to cry.
Babe and JR went home to play their game. They laid out the rules: If Babe won, JR had to be Richie's donor. If JR won, he got anything he wanted.
Ryan came home and Annie greeted him in a sexy nightgown. Ryan was impressed, but was about to tell her again that he couldn't be with her when she interrupted him. She didn't need to hear that he didn't remember her. She wanted to remind him what he was missing, and she wanted him to get out.
Wednesday
Erica stood in her jail cell as an officer brought in another inmate. She tried to explain she didn't belong there, but the officer ignored her.
Meanwhile, Jack asked Samuel who Erica tried to bribe. Samuel told him that would be himself. Jack went down to visit Erica, and she told him she didn't mean it when she fired him. He made her promise to let him do all the talking in court. In the courtroom, Woods read the charges to the judge, and bail was set. Erica warned Samuel that he had made a very powerful enemy. Jack told Erica she was going to stay with him. He took her home and gave her his bedroom, while he stayed in the guest room. Erica went to sleep, but had a dream were Samuel dropped the charges and confessed his love for her.
At the hospital, Richie asked the nurse to go check if he left his wallet at reception. Once he was alone, he got on the hospital computer. He found his donor match: JR. The nurse came back in and told him she couldn't find his wallet. He apologized and said he'd found it, and left.
Babe and JR started their game. Soon they moved from blocks to clothing as collateral, and they both quickly became nearly naked. JR won, and Babe asked if he had decided on his prize. He said he hadn't, but he had a surprise for her. He told her that he already knew that he was a match for Richie, and he planned on being his donor. They kissed, and ended up making love. Meanwhile, Richie greeted people at the door.
Aidan found Kendall in the bathroom. She told him the test was negative, and showed him the test. They both recognized their continued guilt, and Greenlee burst in as Aidan consoled Kendall. Kendall told her she wasn't pregnant, and told her the timing wouldn't have been right. Greenlee asked Aidan if she could excuse them. Kendall apologized to her, and Greenlee helped her pull herself together. At the bar, Zach told Aidan he had a favor to ask him — he wanted Aidan to go on Kendall's book tour with her, as her bodyguard. Aidan reluctantly agreed. Later, as Zach walked by the bathroom, Kendall reminded Greenlee she didn't want to tell Zach about the whole pregnancy thing. Zach popped his head in and asked, "You're pregnant?" Greenlee left them alone. Kendall explained that since she had been sick, she took a test to see if she was pregnant, but it turned out negative. She asked if they could go home. At home, Zach couldn't understand why she would hide it from him. He pointed out that keeping secrets had never worked for them. Kendall agreed he was right, but she didn't want him to get his hopes up. He asked how she felt about it, and she told him she was relieved because she thought it was too soon for another baby. He agreed, and then asked if it was time for make-up sex. Back at Greenlee's, she and Aidan fell into bed together.
The next morning, Greenlee called Kendall and wished her luck with Spike's implants. After they got off the phone, Zach told her he had hired Aidan to be her bodyguard on the book tour. Kendall insisted she didn't need one, but Zach wouldn't hear it. He filled her in on Erica's situation.
When Babe woke up, she tried to call Richie to give him the news, but JR interrupted. He was more interested in something else. Meanwhile, Richie was instructing some men to kidnap JR.
Thursday
At the Chandler manse, Krystal lamented that Jesse didn't see Angie. Then Frankie arrived, looking for his mother, and Tad promised to make some calls. After Frankie went to the police, Tad recalled that Jesse and Angie had a shack in the woods, but he didn't know where it was, so he consulted an old map. At the cabin, Jesse was holding Angie in his arms, reminiscing and apologizing for disappearing. She demanded to know what happened. He recalled being shot, being in the hospital, and then blacking out. When he awoke, some mysterious "they" told him it was a set-up, and they demanded he tell them...something. Only Jesse didn't know what. When they threatened to kill his family Jesse flipped out, then awoke in a field, next to a guy digging a grave. He freed himself and buried the thug in that grave. He needed to make them believe he was dead. He never learned what they wanted. He went to Canada, Europe, even Africa (where he worked at a game preserve). He's sure they will come for Angie and Frankie, so he cannot stay. Angie told him about her daughter, Cassandra, and insisted on going on the run with him: "Don't you even think about trying to stop me." But he did try. She vowed to chase him anywhere. "Do you even know how much I love you?" he marveled. "You can't leave me ever again," she sobbed. Jesse heard someone outside. It was Tad and Krystal. "This is not a game!" furious Jesse screamed. "You have put yourself in so much danger!" Then Tad heard a noise outside....
At Fusion, Greenlee looked over headlines about jailed Erica, and Babe deflected calls. They wondered if Erica is guilty. After Babe confessed about the strip poker game, Greens wondered: "Do you think there's sex in Heaven?" Babe said she and JR are taking it one day at a time. Greens admitted she thinks about Spike's accident every day, because "guilt is a real bitch." Aidan arrived to invite her on a picnic, so Greens led him to the roof. "I love picnics," he confessed, recalling his auntie taking him for high tea (honest). Since they had no tea, they slugged champagne straight from the bottle. But Babe interrupted with word that Derek wants to talk about the bones found in the bomb shelter.
At the condo, Kendall fretted about Spike's cochlear implant being activated. Ryan arrived to support Spike, and revealed Annie kicked him out. Then Annie arrived, and there was an awkward exchange. Zach handed Spike to his dad, who gave the deaf child a pep talk. The doc arrived and explained how the implants work. Ryan had the honor of turning the implants on. Spike heard the audiologist, then everybody cooed and cheered, attracting his attention in all directions. A tearful Annie was happy for Spike and Ryan.
She played with Spike as Zach told Kendall this is a new start for everyone. Annie watched Kendall hold hands with Ryan. After Annie told Ryan they need to talk to Emma, she left for work. Spike told her, "Bye-bye." Ryan and Kendall noted Zach is a good father. Then Derek called about the bones. On his way home, Ryan flashed back to asking Kendall to marry him. When Zach and Kendall arrived at Fusion, Derek told everyone the body in the pit was murdered.
At the cabin, the noise turned out to be Frankie. Angie told him his father is alive. Jesse stepped out to say, "Hello, son."
Friday
Frankie confronted his father. Jesse promised to explain himself, and they
went inside to talk. Frankie wanted to know how Jesse could abandon them.
Jesse tried to explain without giving Frankie too much information about the
men who were after him. Frankie wasn't happy with him. Finally, Jesse
convinced Frankie to fill him in on his life. They shared a long-awaited
embrace. Outside, Tad apologized for not telling Angie that Jesse was alive.
Angie worried Jesse wasn't telling them the whole story. Tad and Angie went
back inside as Frankie told Jesse he would help him fight the men who were
after him. Tad and Angie agreed they could do this together. Jesse fought
them for awhile, but finally, through sobs, he agreed he would stay.
Meanwhile, men found Jesse on the hospital's security tapes, and discovered he was still alive.
Derek met Kendall, Zach, Aidan and Greenlee at Fusion. He told them the man
that died in the bomb shelter was John Remington, a.k.a. Remy, who had
once dated Angie. In fact, Jesse died taking a bullet that was meant for
Remy. Remy's death looked like a murder — a mob-style execution. After he
left, Kendall told Greenlee that Spike's implant worked. Zach asked to speak
to Greenlee. In the lounge, he told Greenlee he hired Aidan to be Kendall's
bodyguard on the book tour. He was worried about Ryan. He wanted to make
sure Greenlee was okay with it. Alone with Aidan, Kendall suggested they
forget their past. They could make the bodyguard situation work. Moments
later they doubted it again. Greenlee and Zach came back in and Greens
told them Zach had told her that Aidan was going to be Kendall's bodyguard.
Aidan told them he had decided he wanted to stay home with Greenlee, but she
insisted he go.
JR brought food over to Babe's, and they ended up having sex again. Before
he left to go to the hospital to start the transplant procedure, JR told
Babe he loved her and he wanted them to be a family again. They kissed
goodbye and he went. Meanwhile, Richie sent out his goons to kidnap JR.
Richie's men grabbed him and knocked him out. Meanwhile, Richie went over to
Babe's, and Babe was relieved he finally was there. She told him JR had
agreed to be his donor, and was already on his way to the hospital.
Elsewhere, the men held JR down while a doctor gave him an injection to
sedate him.
