AMC Week of February 14, 2011
Monday
At the police station, JR demanded to be released. Tad told JR to calm down. Jesse showed up and agreed to let JR go for now. Jesse and Tad caught up. Brot left work early to go visit Natalia for Valentine's Day. Angie called.
In the attic, Marissa tried to reason with a demented Annie and begged Annie to release her. Annie stormed out, leaving Marissa locked in the attic. JR came home and broke the news to Annie that he knows about the hit-and-run and about her kidnapping Colby. He pleaded with her to get help. Annie lost her composure again when JR mentioned Oak Haven. Annie blamed Marissa; JR defended his ex-wife. JR tried to get Annie to calm down. Annie let it slip that Marissa had come to the house. “Where is Marissa now?” asked a concerned JR. In the attic, Marissa passed out. Annie admitted that Marissa was in the attic. JR bolted upstairs to try to save Marissa.
Jack told Krystal that Erica wasn't coming to Greenlee's wedding. Krystal raised an eyebrow.
Ryan was floored when Greenlee blurted out that Madison is pregnant. Ryan demanded to know if the baby was his. Scott entered the conversation and, thinking on his feet, claimed that the baby was his. Mad and Greens went along with it. Scott heard that Mad had been cramping and insisted on taking her to the hospital; she refused. Ryan told Greens he was ready to go ahead with the wedding. Mad told Scott that Greenlee already knew she was pregnant (unaware that, of course, Scott already knew this). Jack and Greens caught up while Ryan instructed the kids about the ceremony. Ryan and Greenlee exchanged vows with Ricky officiating. Annie sneaked into the post-ceremony toasts unseen and motioned for Emma to join her.
Scott brought Madison back to his place. They talked about pulling off the Scott-as-father ruse. Mad was psyched not to have to hide her pregnancy anymore.
Tuesday
Colby and Asher bickered at the cottage about his insistence that they stay there while JR dealt with Annie. To pass the time, Colby suggested strip poker. When she had him nearly undressed, she bolted and drove off.
Erica came to Kendall's with gifts for Reese but Bianca explained that her plane was delayed. Bianca grilled Erica about her feelings for Caleb. Bianca recommended that Erica go talk to Jack and fix their problems. Binks broke down crying and admitted that Reese wasn't coming to visit.
At ConFusion, Annie told Emma they had to leave. Ryan and Greenlee took pics and Krystal checked in on Jack. Ryan became concerned about Emma's whereabouts. Annie told Emma they were going on an adventure. Ryan checked his voicemail and got a message from JR about Annie. He realized his ex had probably snatched the girl.
JR broke into the attic to rescue a passed-out Marissa. Marissa regained consciousness and said that Annie had tried to kill her. JR left a message for Annie. Marissa demanded that he call the police. JR balked and brought Marissa to the yacht club. Marissa looked around and found JR's tie. He tried to deny it, but she realized that he'd been sleeping with Annie. He admitted that she was right. Marissa deduced that JR had lied to her to maintain custody of AJ.
At the police station, David invited Liza out for a drink. She declined. David later bumped into Liza at Krystal's. David insisted to Liza that he didn't want to ruin Greenlee's wedding day; she scoffed at the notion that he was a changed man. David left. Colby burst in and told Liza that Annie had held her hostage. Colby wanted to press charges and she wanted to go visit Damon, though Liza tried to dissuade her. Asher entered and echoed Liza's sentiments about how visiting Damon was a bad idea. Damon made a slip of the tongue and Colby asked him if he knew the identity of the woman Damon had slept with. He denied it. Dasher kissed Colby; she stormed off.
David saw Emma and Annie in the park and he agreed not to tell Ryan. David realized that he had an amazing revenge tool at his disposal and told Annie that he would take care of everything. As she sped out of town, Annie called JR and told him not to bother looking for her. She hung up when he tried to get her to tell him where she was. Liza saw David in the park, grinning to himself. He said he'd just done a good deed. JR and Marissa returned to the mansion. Ryan stormed in and demanded to know where Annie was. "Bye-bye, Pine Valley," Annie said. She told Emma they were going on a long trip.
Erica joined Jack at Krystal's. Erica took offense when she realized Krystal had gone to the wedding. He denied taking Krystal as his date. Jack stomped off. Erica followed.
Wednesday
From her hospital bed, Kendall told Bianca that Griffin kept her going when she thought she was going to die. Bianca called him her hero, and suspected that Griffin had feelings for her sister. Kendall then changed the topic to Bianca's troubled marriage to Reese. "Do you still even love her?" Kendall asked. Bianca tearfully admitted that she missed her wife and felt lonely. Kendall handed her sister a phone and said, "I want you to tell Reese what you just told me," and smiled. Bianca called Reese, but Reese told Bianca she'd have to call her later. A dejected Bianca hung up and left. "Sometimes love really sucks," Kendall sighed.
Griffin showed up with Valentine's candy for his sister. She said she didn't
need leftovers from his "legions of female fans." Cara wondered why Griffin
didn't have a date, and asked if he'd checked up on Kendall lately. Griffin
assured his sis that he would "never turn into a lovesick idiot over one of
his patients." When Griffin went to check on Kendall, she confessed that after the accident, she
saw Zach. Griffin gave Kendall a piece of candy. "If you're asking me to be
your Valentine, the answer is no," Kendall smiled. Griffin allowed
Kendall to open his Valentine's Day cards, of which he had many. She called
him "Dr. McLove," which they had a good chuckle over. Kendall asked why
he confided in her about stealing drugs from the hospital. Griffin told
Kendall to concentrate on getting better and left.
Jake surprised Amanda with a romantic candlelight dinner at home. He
admitted that he discovered Cara was still wearing their wedding
ring on a chain around her neck. Amanda assumed that Cara was
still in love with him and came to Pine Valley to see if Jake still had
feelings for her. Jake assured
Amanda that their love was strong and unwavering. Just then, Jake was paged
to the hospital. "It will not affect us," he promised. Later, Amanda went to the hospital and demanded to see Cara's ring. She pulled
the chain; Cara took it back and tried to walk away. Amanda demanded a
reply. Cara said that once she saw Jake and Amanda together, she gave up any
hope of reconciliation. Amanda wasn't buying it and told her to leave Pine
Valley. Cara insisted that she was there for her brother only.... Jake
confided in Tad about his dilemma with Cara.... Amanda returned home to
Jake, where they made love.... Jake met with Cara, who was
crying, and gave her a cup of coffee.
Ryan was furious that JR didn't say anything about Annie's worsening
condition and was frantic that she was M.I.A. with Emma. JR was contrite but
Ryan didn't care. He asked JR to call him if anyone heard anything and left.
JR remained concerned about Marissa's condition and wanted her to go to the
hospital to get checked out. He took her to
PVH and apologized for his involvement with Annie, but she
didn't want to hear it and ordered him to leave.
Caleb met with Asher, who showed his old man how to check e-mail on his
phone. Caleb wasn't interested. Caleb was surprised to discover that Asher
knew about Annie's escapades. "When are you going to see that the Chandlers
are all poison?" Caleb huffed. Asher countered that JR stuck by him when
Caleb wasn't around and he vowed his allegiance to JR.
In his search for Emma, Ryan found one of her drawings and prayed to God to
get his little girl back. Ryan then spotted a storybook that Annie made for
Emma. Greenlee assured Ryan they would bring Emma home. They returned to
Ryan's, where they discovered that Annie had been there, and had left Ryan a
message that Emma was safe. Ryan was devastated.
Thursday
At the hospital, Griffin advised Cara put the ring away if it's causing her so much grief. She gave him a hard time about his crush on Kendall.
Meanwhile, Kendall woke up from a nightmare. She admitted to Rev. Ricky she
thinks Zach's trying to tell her something. Ricky accompanied Kendall home.
Her place was trashed and she wondered if she'd been robbed. She couldn't
shake the feeling that Zach was saying something to her. Griffin arrived to
retrieve Kendall. Rev. Ricky stayed behind to talk to the cops.
Madison told Scott that she'd hoped to get to know him a little better
before making him an insta-daddy, but he said it was cool and they discussed
how to proceed with the situation.
At Krystal's, Ryan was frantic about Annie taking Emma. He beat himself up
for not heeding the signs. Jesse rushed in to say that they found Marissa's
car. It was abandoned. Ryan suspected that Annie stole another car and still
has Emma. Later, Greens thanked Scott for taking care of the situation with
Madison. "Daddy, huh? Gotta say I didn't see that coming," she quipped.
Scott wanted to tell everyone their story.
At ConFusion, Tad told Jake that Cara has some ties to some very bad people
in Africa and that she's a marked woman. Jake gave Tad as much info he could
about the man who died on Cara's operating table. Tad confirmed that the man
was involved with the Sialoa Federation, a drug cartel, and his brother has
put a contract on Cara's head. Jake told Cara that he'd been kidnapped
after she left the Sudan and sympathized with her situation. He then told
her that she can't leave town.
Back at the hospital, Tad advised Cara to fake her death; Amanda secretly
called immigration on Cara. Kendall told Greens she wants to talk to the
investigators working on Zach's case. Ricky made a mysterious call and
advised whoever was on the other end of the line that Kendall needs to
continue believing that he's a friendly minister, not the killer of her
husband.
Friday
Cara was blown away by Tad's idea to fake her death; he explained the
benefits of making the drug cartel think she's no longer alive. Griffin balked at the idea of signing his sister's death certificate, but Cara
wanted to give Tad's plan a try so Griffin finally gave in. Cara tearfully
thanked Tad.
Amanda snitched to INS that Cara is in the country illegally and also gave
up where she worked. Jake appeared and Amanda admitted that she argued with
Cara. He apologized for causing his wife angst. Later, Amanda
encountered Cara at the hospital and cryptically hoped Cara would get what
she deserves.
Greenlee assured a worried Ryan that Annie and Emma will be found. Jesse
showed up but didn't have any leads on Annie's escape route. Ryan speculated
that Annie may have fled through the park and Jesse left to retrieve the
footage of the security cameras there. Ryan was touched when Greens gave him
a watch for a wedding present. Jesse returned with a photo of David with
Annie.
Ricky told someone on the other end of the phone to meet him in the
park to discuss Kendall. There, he angrily ordered a young woman to back off
and let him continue the plot against Kendall in his own timeframe. Opal
suddenly happened by and asked why Ricky never showed up to talk to her and
Erica about Kendall. He assured that he would be there for Kendall as much
as possible.
In her hospital room, Kendall tried to convince herself that Zack's death
was an accident. Bianca stopped for a visit and Kendall said she was holding
off on selling the casinos, then was surprised to learn that her sister had
an appointment with Marissa. Binks confessed that she and Reese were
divorcing and broke down in tears. Ricky arrived so Bianca departed to meet
with Marissa. Rick announced he has a special dinner planned for her when
she gets released.
Tad shared the Cara-gets-killed scheme with Jake. Later, Tad let Amanda in
on the plan and she was surprised to hear that the drugs guys would kill
Cara in a heartbeat if they found her.... Marissa advised Bianca to be ready
in case Reese fights for custody of the girls.... Griffin informed Kendall
that she will be released soon. Ricky watched from afar as the doctor and
his patient shared a close moment.... Amanda called the INS and was
unsuccessful in recanting her report. Jake and Tad were shocked when an INS
agent showed up and arrested Cara for passport fraud.
