AMC Week Of December 24, 2007
Monday
Although Greenlee made it to the hospital alive, she was barely hanging on. Jack, Erica, Aidan, Sean and Lily waited and feared the worst. Aidan went to the chapel to pray. He ran into Father Clarence, who reminded him of the power of love. Aidan then went back to Greenlee, who miraculously began breathing again when he held her in his arms. Meanwhile, Zach and Kendall professed their love for one another.
JR confronted Amanda and she told him Adam had the DVD with the evidence to clear him, leaving him shocked and angry. He let Derek know the DVD exists, and set out to confront Adam.
Adam was haunted by what he did to Krystal and Tad. Through an extraordinary experience, he realized he needed to tell Tad the truth about Kathy being Kate. He made his way over to their house, but before he had a chance to tell them why he was there, they blindsided with an announcement: they had gotten married the night before.
Tuesday
Merry Christmas! AMC was pre-empted today.
Wednesday
Everyone was overjoyed when Greenlee came back from the brink of death.
She told Aidan it was because of him. Joe asked everyone to wait in the hall so he could take care of Greenlee. Ryan, Annie and Emma arrived at the hospital as a tearful Jack, Erica and Aidan walked into the hall. They told Ryan that Greenlee was going to make it. Jack went back in to see her, and asked how she made it. She told him Zach got her through it. Aidan came in, and Jack told her Aidan never gave up on her.
Myrtle hugged Zach. Kendall came in after Myrtle left and told Zach that Aidan had somehow talked Greenlee back to life. Josh brought Ian in, and Kendall handed him to his father. She went back into the hall and told everyone she needed a moment. She sat down by herself. Erica followed her. Her mother reminded her that Kendall never stopped believing that Zach would return, but Kendall admitted she had — for one night. Erica, not realizing what she meant, told her it didn't matter. In Zach's room, Josh told Zach all about the month he had missed. He explained how he moved in and helped Kendall out. Zach knew it hadn't been easy for him. He emotionally told Josh he wasn't his brother-in-law anymore — he was his brother. Ryan, Annie and Spike came in, and Annie put Spike in Zach's lap so he could hold both his boys. Josh went out into the hall, where Kendall thanked him and Erica for helping her through the last month. Emma gave Zach a present, and asked why he almost missed Christmas. He told her he had been lost. They all chatted for a while, and then Kendall excused herself to visit Greenlee. Everyone left but Erica. Zach tricked her into coming close enough to sneak a kiss on her cheek, and he thanked her for everything he'd done for his family while he was gone. She asked if there was anything she could do for him now, and with a laugh he said he could use some more space. She said she could do better than that, and left.
Ryan visited Greenlee and told her how much Aidan loved her, and that he loved her in the way Ryan couldn't. She nodded in agreement. Kendall came in after he left, and Greenlee thanked her for saving her. Kendall told her she wouldn't be thanking her when she told her what she had to say — Greenlee didn't cause Spike's deafness. Greenlee stared at her in shock as tears ran down her cheeks. Kendall said she was sorry and begged her to yell and scream at her. Greenlee only turned away and sobbed. Kendall turned to leave, but Greenlee stopped her and asked if Spike would hear again. Kendall told her he would, and Greenlee said she was glad. Kendall said she was glad Greenlee was alive.
Erica told Jack how happy she was that Greenlee was all right, and Jack thanked her. She put together a little party in the lobby for Zach, and Emma showed off her princess dress to everyone's cheers. Erica announced she had a surprise, and in walked Bianca and Miranda. As everyone caught up, Aidan wheeled Greenlee in, and she and Zach exchanged smiles. Aidan and Kendall exchanged awkward glances. Erica made a short speech, and everyone sang carols.
Adam, Colby and Babe were shocked to hear that Krystal and Tad had gotten married. In fact, Adam didn't believe it until Tad showed him the marriage certificate. Talking alone, Adam asked Krystal why exactly she had married Tad. He assumed it was a ploy to get out of the custody suit. Teary-eyed, Krystal told Adam the marriage was for real. She couldn't be with Adam; she had to choose Jenny. She asked what news he had come there to tell them, but he told her he didn't have any. Adam told her a piece of paper wouldn't keep them apart. Krystal told him she would never be able to forgive him for what he did to her, or to Jenny. She had to cut him out of her life, so she wouldn't have to explain to Jenny someday why she jumped back in bed with the man who tried to give her daughter away. Julia took Tad outside to try and talk sense into him, but Tad retorted Jenny was reason enough to get married. He came back inside and stood beside Krystal. Adam had a few choice words for him and stormed out. Colby followed him (after he vowed to himself not to tell Tad about Kate) and offered to go home with him. He told her not to pity him, and to stay and enjoy the rest of her holiday. Julia, who had been listening, charged out and laid into him for treating his daughter that way. Adam left anyway. Inside, Colby told everyone Zach and Greenlee had been found and would be okay. Everyone was relieved, and Krystal told Tad that Adam wouldn't be coming back. At home by himself, Adam muttered to "Tad" that he would never find his daughter now.
Thursday
Bianca assured Kendall that everything would be fine. They talked about how Greenlee and Zach were there for each other, and Binks complimented Kendall on how she and Aidan never gave up. Kendall told her they had, for one moment. Bianca could tell something was up and asked what happened between her and Aidan. Kendall mumbled some things, but not the truth. In the end, Bianca was able to reassure her.
Erica was showing Zach pictures when Derek came in and told Zach they had proof it wasn't JR who hit him. Derek asked who else could have done it, and Zach talked about the man who covered the hole. He said he would recognize the voice the next time he heard it.
Adam was angered to see Zach had been found. JR walked in and dropped his bag on the floor and told Adam he was leaving. He explained that he knew about the DVD and that Adam had sat on the information that would have proved his innocence. JR gave him a speech about how pathetic he was, how selfish and how alone. He left, and Adam muttered to himself that JR would be back.
Aidan came into Greenlee's room. She asked if Christmas was a dream, and he told her it was all real. Jack arrived at the hospital and realized Derek had a guard on Greenlee's door. Jack argued with him to no avail. After Derek left, Jack went in to see his daughter, who he asked to call him Dad from then on. In the hall, Aidan was angered to find the police. He asked Joe to get rid of them but there was nothing he could do. He warned Aidan that Greenlee had a long way to go. Zach ran into Aidan in the hall. Aidan thanked Zach for keeping Greenlee alive, and asked him not to tell Greenlee that the police were guarding her room. He agreed, and went in to see her as Jack came out. Greenlee smiled when he walked in, and asked how he was doing. Aidan left when he saw Kendall approaching. She listened at the door as Zack thanked Greenlee for saving his life and apologized for everything he had done to her.
Aidan found Kendall setting up pictures in Zach's room. They talked awkwardly for a moment before Aidan suggested they talk about what happened between them. Kendall said it never should have happened. Aidan said all that mattered was they had Greenlee and Zach back, and suggested they don't talk about it again. Kendall thought that was a good idea. They complimented each other on not giving up, and Kendall told Aidan he was going to make Greenlee very happy. He told Kendall that was his plan, and left. In the hall, Jack tried again to convince Derek to back off Greenlee, but Derek insisted he had no choice.
Bianca visited Erica at work and questioned her mom about her situation with Jack. She couldn't believe it was really over, but insisted that Erica would be able to find a way to be with him.
Aidan came back to Greenlee's room, and Zach left. Greenlee happily told Aidan that Zach had apologized to her. Zach found Kendall in his room and kissed her before getting back in bed. He told her that Derek had proof that JR wasn't the one who hit him. He told her how much he missed her, and they talked about how lucky they were. Kendall worried about Greenlee and how the cops were ready to arrest her when she got better. Kendall said she couldn't confess to framing Greens — she could go to prison for years. Zach said that wasn't going to happen.
Kendall came in to see Greenlee, and Aidan left. Aidan asked Jack if he'd had any luck getting help for Greenlee and he hadn't. Back in her room, Greenlee spotted the guard outside the door. Kendall tried to calm her by saying Derek said it was just a routine procedure, but Greenlee wasn't having any of it. "They're sending me back to prison, aren't they?"
Friday
Bianca visited Babe and Little Adam at Fusion and brought a gift from Zoe. They talked about their tumultuous love lives, and after catching up for awhile, Bianca told Miranda it was time to leave.
Adam marched into Erica's office and told her about Krystal and Tad's marriage. Erica insisted the marriage wouldn't last. He questioned her relationship with Jack, and she told him they would be getting back together in no time. Erica wondered if Adam had considered giving up on Krystal. Adam said he hadn't, and left. Bianca and Miranda came in to say goodbye to Erica before they left. After some hugs, they were gone. Erica got back to work and a note came for her, which made her smile.
Tad and Krystal went to work at The Comeback, but walked into a surprise party. They forced Tad to give Krystal a kiss. Once things settled down and they got to work, Krystal confided in Tad about her feelings for Adam, and they talked about their sexual frustration now that they were married to each other. Krystal suggested they eat through it. They continued to come up with ideas to release the frustration, but then Krystal had another idea. She hinted they could have sex with each other and then made it clear when she kissed him and said, "I want you to make love to me."
Kendall admitted everything to Greenlee about setting her up. Greenlee said it was partly her fault for being such a fool. Kendall knew now how wrong she was, and told Greenlee she'd get her out of it. Greens said she wasn't going to do it alone. They were a team once and they could be a team again. She told Kendall about her time in the bomb shelter and how Zach had opened up to her, "but I didn't take advantage of him." Kendall blanched, and Greenlee noticed. Kendall tried to cover and overcompensated. Greenlee started going on and on about taking vacations together, and Kendall said they couldn't just go back to being best friends again; there was a cop outside her door, and it was her fault (but she was really feeling guilty about sleeping with Aidan).
Meanwhile, in his room Zach told Aidan he would do whatever it took to protect both Kendall and Greenlee. He told Aidan he was worried Kendall would confess. Aidan was wary. Zach called for Joe, and then promised Aidan again he would look out for Greenlee's best interests now that she saved his life. Zach thanked him for taking care of Kendall, and asked how they found the bomb shelter. Aidan flashed back to having sex with Kendall, but just told Zach they found the plans in the house.
Colby, Sean, Dre and the rest of the band hung out at Colby's waiting for a pizza. Dre got worked up when they questioned him, as usual. There was a knock at the door and it was a man looking for "Andre." They all pretended Dre wasn't there, even when he said he worked for the family. He asked them to let Dre know his father was looking for him. When they went back into the living room, Dre was gone.
Julia gave Jack a check-up at the hospital, and he told her that nothing was happening with him and Erica. She told him that Erica made it clear to her she didn't want her spending time with him. She told him about Tad and Krystal's marriage, and shared her concerns about not having any information about Kathy's health history. Someone brought Jack a note that said, "Meet me at the Yacht Club tonight."
Out in the hall, Kendall ran into Hannah, who had come to visit Zach. She promptly sent her away, which Hannah told her she had no right to do. After walking away from Kendall, Hannah left her care package for Zach with someone and asked that they make sure he got it. Then she had a fantasy in which Zach kissed her. Kendall found Zach and Aidan and asked them to come to Greenlee's room because she had something she wanted them all to hear. Once they were all there, Derek arrived. Kendall told Derek he couldn't arrest Greenlee, because she was the one who was guilty.
