All My Children Recaps

AMC Week of December 20, 2010

Monday

Jack and Erica discussed their wedding plans at ConFusion. Caleb sat down and the trio discussed the case. Caleb and Jack both wanted Erica to steer clear of Liza. Jack left to try to get info from Liza. Erica got a call from SEC and happily reported to Caleb that Chandler's purchase of Cortlandt had been voided. They celebrated.

Annie and Amanda talked about JR at Krystal's. When JR and Marissa entered together in happy spirits, Annie seethed. JR went over to say hi to Annie, who tried to hold it together as she watched JR and Marissa share a plate of pasta. Annie got a text and raced out. Marissa got a call and told the caller she'd see him or her soon. JR pressed her for details but she told him that he didn't get to ask her those kinds of questions anymore. Annie and JR reunited in her hotel room and he tried to soothe her paranoia. Annie blurted out that she loves JR.

Liza revealed to David and Greenlee that she is Liza's new medical advocate. Speaking privately at David's bedside, Greens told him that she didn't hate him. She left when Liza entered.

Madison and Kendall discussed Madison's plan to leave town as they assembled Christmas gifts for the boys. Rev. Ricky came by and Mad exited after promising Kendall to think about staying in Pine Valley. Kendall and Ricky bonded. Ryan came by and Kendall revealed that Mad was thinking about relocating. Ryan left. Erica arrived, followed by Jack, who had just chatted with Liza. Jack reported that Liza was filing attempted murder charges against Erica.

Mad went to the hospital and told Frankie that she had decided to move away. Greens heard the tail end of their conversation and became suspicious. She swiped a card from David's wallet in order to access the hospital computer. Ryan caught her; she covered and he left. Greenlee was stunned when she got into Madison's files and learned that Mad is preggers. Ryan went to ConFusion and told Madison what he'd learned from Kendall.

Tuesday

After Annie blurted out to JR that she loves him, there was a knock on the door before he could address the sentiment. He forced her to hide, then opened the door to Caleb, who was there to gloat about regaining control of Cortlandt. Caleb indicated to JR that he would probably lose Chandler soon, too. After Caleb left, JR took off, forgetting that he'd left Annie behind in the closet. Amanda came by to see Annie, who told Amanda that she hated feeling like JR's dirty secret. Amanda recommended patience. JR went home and tried to do damage control while the phones rang off the hook. One of the callers? Adam. JR couldn't bring himself to take the call. Marissa entered and gave a downtrodden JR a pep talk, inspiring him to face the music by calling Adam back. Afterwards, JR thanked Marissa and they shared a close moment. An arriving Annie spoiled the moment. Marissa left and JR apologized to Annie for hurting her feelings back at the yacht club. JR told Annie about talking to Adam.

Kendall was upset when Jack reported to her and Erica that Liza had filed charges against La Kane. Erica tried to soothe her. Kendall left to go pick up Spike and Erica deflected Jack's questions about whether more was going on than he knew about. Erica went to Wildwind and heard about Caleb's visit with JR. They discussed Erica's decision not to tell Jack about Kendall nearly smothering David. They acknowledged that they had come to trust each other deeply.

Greenlee reeled from the discovery that Madison is pregnant. Randi approached her and Greens tried to hide her upset, then probed Randi for info on Mad's well-being. Randi told Greens to stay away from Madison. Greens went to Krystal's and learned from Kendall that Madison was leaving town. Kendall told Greens about Liza filing charges against Erica, then stormed out. Back at home, Spike acted out in his grief over Zach.

At ConFusion, Madison insisted to Ryan that leaving town is what's best for her. Ryan tried to set up a doctor's appointment for Mad with a shoulder specialist. Mad, meanwhile, fled to the hospital to tell Frankie about her encounter with Ryan. Ryan showed up and introduced her to the specialist; she berated him for getting involved with her affairs. After Madison left, Frankie gave Ryan a similar lecture. Kendall called Ryan, saying that Spike needed him.

Greenlee went to ConFusion and saw Madison. She approached her and told her: "I know that you're pregnant."

Wednesday

Griffin and Cara talked about her lingering feelings for Jake, which Cara denied having.

Ryan observed Kendall feeling ill. She insisted she was fine. Still, her erratic behavior gave Ryan pause.

"I know you're pregnant," Greenlee warned Madison at ConFusion. Mad was livid with Greens for accessing her hospital records and furiously denied having gotten pregnant deliberately. Ryan arrived at the tail end of their discussion and they were forced to cover. Back at the loft, Greens struggled with whether or not to tell Ryan about Mad's condition. She gladly agreed when Ryan proposed that they spend some quality time together. Meanwhile, Mad sipped water at Krystal's.

At the hospital, Jake questioned Amanda's interest in getting to know Cara. They were making out when Griffin and Cara arrived and brushed past them. After Amanda left, Cara approached Jake, who assured her that he didn't have a problem with them working together. Cara defended herself for going to lunch with Amanda but apologized for leaving him. Amanda arrived to collect Jake. Cara privately fingered her wedding ring, which she wore on a chain.

Griffin went to Krystal's to meet with Bianca. Kendall showed up and was upset that she had been shut out of the discussion. She ran out. Back at the house, she collapsed on her doorstep in Rev. Ricky's arms. He tried to console her in her grief. Bianca came over afterwards and the sisters made up. Binks found a box of Christmas gifts from Zach. Kendall couldn't bring herself to open the present from Zach to her and began to weep. Griffin met back up with Cara at the hospital.
