Monday

At ConFusion, JR decked Jake for dissing Amanda. JR and Amanda sat down across the room and were clearly growing closer. JR urged Amanda not to listen to Jake, that she's too good for him. Amanda wished JR a good night and took her lead. JR poured himself a glass of wine but just as he was about to succumb to temptation, Amanda returned, requesting a ride home.

Brot and Taylor spoke on the phone. She asked to see him; he said no. She later complained to Frank about Brot not opening up to her; Frank said what Brot chose to disclose was up to him, and Taylor relented. Once alone, Taylor turned off the lights — and was surprised when Brot entered. She assured him that she could take hearing about what happened to him, no matter how graphic the details. He was less sure that he could. He retold
the difficult tale of how he survived the explosion. Her love got him through, he said. Brot continued to insist that he wasn't the man he was prior to the accident, that Brot Monroe was dead. Taylor did her best to dissuade him.

Ryan and Greenlee said a painful good-bye at the penthouse. She came to ConFusion and caught up with Jake, who was nursing a swollen cheek and was still rather intoxicated. He stumbled out and made his drunken way to the penthouse, where he tried to play matchmaker for Ryan and Greenlee. Ryan took Jake's slurred advice and went to ConFusion. Ryan fantasized about making love to Greenlee on the bar. Instead, he walked away without Greens
spying him.

At Frank and Randi's apartment, Natalia and Randi chatted about her modeling debut. Natalia grilled Randi about why she and Frank aren't sleeping together. Frank came home and was pleasantly surprised to find Randi in a skimpy negligee surrounded by candles. He assured her that they didn't have to make love but she made it clear that she was ready to let go and trust him. They wasted no time getting passionate.

At the Slater house, Bianca and Reese bickered about Bianca going behind Reese's back and contacting her family. Bianca went to see Reese's dad and tried to argue. Mr. Williams spilled the beans to Bianca that Reese had been engaged to a man named Simon. While Binks reeled from this news, Reese tried to buoy the spirits of a distraught Zach, who was still reeling from the incident at the hospital (when he was falsely led to believe that Kendall had woken up). Binks returned home and asked Zach if he'd known that Reese had been engaged to a man (he hadn't). Reese entered and Bianca blasted Reese for not having told her about Simon. Zach excused himself while the women's shouting match continued. Reese told Bianca she was sorry for not having told her about Simon. Bianca demanded to know if Reese had slept with him. "Of course I did," she sighed. Reese explained that until she met Bianca, she felt like she was living a lie, that she couldn't breathe. Bianca still didn't understand why Reese didn't just tell her the truth from the start. Reese said that she had been ashamed to tell her and that she hadn't wanted Bianca to doubt her. "Once I met you, everything changed for the better," she said tearfully. Bianca and Reese tripped over themselves exchanging "I'm sorrys." They made up easily.

Tuesday

Frank woke up in bed next to Randi. He was late for work, so Angie left him a semi-frantic message. Krystal stopped by the hospital to see Angie and filled her in on the disappearances of Jamie and Jeff and noted that she didn't think she and Tad could survive the loss of another child. Angie tried to reassure Krystal that everything would be fine. Angie vented to Krystal about David's bad behavior on the job.... Randi and Frank took the
battery out of her phone so that they could enjoy their morning in bed without repeated interruptions (in the form of calls from Amanda). Soon enough, Angie banged on the door, concerned about Frank, but they didn't answer, so she summoned the landlady, Mrs. Schwartz. Frank and Randi were horrified when Angie and the landlady walked in on them in bed. "We'll talk later," said Angie, who left with Mrs. Schwartz.

Adam was flustered when he came downstairs to find Val, Petey and Amanda setting up an in-house office for Erica. When Greenlee got to the Fusion office, it was empty. She called Amanda to figure out what was going on and was shocked to find out Erica moved the office to Adam's house. Ryan showed up with Emma, who needed an angel costume for her ballet recital. Greens was happy to pitch in and made a beautiful pair of wings for Emma. Ryan was thrilled but Emma missed her mommy, so Greens proposed taking a picture to send to her. Emma invited Greenlee to her recital. Greens got a call informing her of Randi's tawdry past; apparently, lewd pics of her were online... Amanda left an annoyed message for Randi, who was late to work. Erica continued to order Amanda around.... JR entered the chaos and Adam praised Erica's ability to multitask. JR was less impressed. David showed up to examine Erica and eavesdropped on JR thanking Amanda for stopping him from having that glass of wine. Once alone with Erica, David told his ex that he wanted her to help him get Little Adam out of the Chandlers' grip. La Kane was reluctant; David issued a veiled threat to force Erica to do his
bidding. Greenlee barged in to see Erica with proof of Randi's porn past.... Erica let Little Adam and David spend some time together in the living room. When Adam walked in, he was furious, but Erica enticed him to go take a walk with her. Adam begrudgingly allowed David to spend three minutes alone with their grandson. .... Amanda thanked JR for defending her honor against Jake.
JR entered the living room and told David to take a hike. David hissed to Amanda that she had some explaining to do, then left. JR read Adam the riot act for leaving David alone with Little Adam. On orders from David to explain what had happened the night before with JR, Amanda let herself in to Wildwind and discovered Krystal, who had let herself in after finding a key under a potted plant on the doorstep. "For a married woman, you sure spend a
lot of time here," Amanda said to Krystal. Krystal covered, saying she'd brought pictures of Babe. Amanda said she'd love to see them, threatening Krystal's alibi, but David arrived in time to toss her out, but not before reminding her that it's her job to drive JR to drink. David returned to Krystal and admitted that he'd slept with Amanda but that it had meant nothing. Soon enough, he and Krystal were making out.

At Oak Haven, Aidan came to see Annie, who still thought that Aidan was her dad, a notion he continued to encourage. Someone was watching their interaction on a hidden camera feed. Annie asked "Daddy" to make the doctor go away. Aidan said he would be there to protect her. Aidan hid before Dr. Sinclair entered; when she had to leave to check on another patient, Aidan came out from under the bed. Aidan cautioned Annie not to tell the doctor anything about him lest he not be able to visit her anymore. Ryan came by with the picture of Emma; Dr. Sinclair intercepted him. Aidan slipped out of Annie's room and made himself scarce so as not to be spotted by Ryan. Dr. Sinclair cautioned Ryan that it would probably take months for Annie to make any significant progress. She asked Ryan what he could tell her about Annie's father. Annie, meanwhile, woke up from a nap and called out for her daddy; when he didn't materialize, she made her way toward the door, which Aidan had left ajar. When Annie came into the hallway, she violently attacked Ryan and screamed for her dad's help as the Oak Haven staff restrained her. Dr. Sinclair had Ryan show Emma's picture to a sedated Emma. "That's me!" Annie chirped. Annie insisted to Ryan that her father is staying down the hall. "Want to meet him?" she offered.

Emma was thrilled when Greenlee came to the recital. With Ryan detained at Oak Haven, Greens played proud mom, taping the performance.

Wednesday

Brot paid a visit to Taylor at the hospital; she was preparing to be
discharged. He left and went to check out the condo that Frank was helping get ready for her, causing Frank to call his pal out on his feelings for his ex. A military officer showed up at the hospital seeking info on Brot and David offered his full cooperation, earning him a tongue-lashing from Jake. Jake and David exchanged barbs. David then spoke to Joe on the phone and
tattled to him about Jake. David told Joe to step down as chief of staff and hand the position over to him.

Annie attacked Ryan ("the doctor") and screamed for her daddy's help. A burly worker restrained Annie; Ryan went into the hallway and found Dr. Sinclair, not noticing that a hooded Aidan slipped past him. Dr. Sinclair accused Ryan of being responsible for Annie's condition. She urged Ryan to let her and the other doctors do their job and sent Ryan on his way.... Someone continued to secretly watch Annie via a hidden camera.

At the casino, Reese and Zach worked on the reconstruction. Binks arrived and volunteered to take over Zach's shift at Kendall's bedside. Binks told Reese that she was worried about Zach's emotional distance from his wife. When a worker flirted with Reese, Binks's insecurities flared up. Reese tried to reassure Bianca. After Bianca left, Reese and Zach talked about the secret they were keeping from Bianca, and Reese managed to lift her friend's spirits. He decided to go to the hospital.

Greenlee took Emma home from her recital. Ryan came home to Greenlee (Emma was out getting ice cream with her babysitter) and thanked Greens for being there for Emma. He was delighted that she'd taped it. They went to the hospital together, where Greenlee had an uneasy conversation with Bianca and Ryan poured out his heart to a comatose Kendall. While Ryan was talking to her, Ryan felt her move and called for help. Zach and Greenlee rushed in as the doctors examined Kendall. David broke the news that Kendall's movement had been involuntary, that her condition hadn't changed a whiff. When Jack arrived, Greens asked him if he would handle her divorce from Aidan. She denied it when Jack ribbed her about being more than friends with Ryan....
Zach ordered Ryan to stay away from Kendall.... Greenlee called Aidan about the divorce papers. He said he wouldn't contest it.

Binks returned home to Reese, who had set up a romantic evening for her beloved. Binks pulled away from her touch, saying that she just couldn't get her mind off Reese's previous engagement. "Are you bisexual?" she inquired of her intended. Reese adamantly denied it. They exchanged stories about their past loves. Her first love, Sarah, left her for a man, Bianca recounted.

Frank beat a hasty retreat. Taylor asked Brot if he had noticed the "For Rent" sign on the condo across the way; he had, but was noncommittal. Brot served Taylor some pizza and she asked him why he was being so nice to her, helping her pay her rent and the like. She made it clear that he didn't want him to feel obligated to her; rather, she wanted the chance to look into the eyes of the man she — "used to love?" he interjected. She corrected him, declaring that the Brot she loves is still inside him. Bickering ensued. Jake barged in to warn Brot that the military was after him for impersonating Mike Sweeney; Jake rushed Brot out the back.

Thursday

Taylor was interviewed in her new condo by a military investigator probing into Brot taking Mike Sweeney's identity. She fibbed that she hadn't seen Brot. After the interviewer left, Jake entered and they discussed Brot's predicament. Taylor thanked Jake for all of his support and theorized that Brot was probably now on the run for good.

Frank and Randi continued to bask in the afterglow. They took a break to watch Erica's press conference, but instead of announcing Randi as the new face of Fusion, she announced a nationwide search for the brand's new model. Randi left to investigate. Brot showed up to see Frank and Frank berated him for wanting to go on the run once again. Next, Brot went to say good-bye to
Taylor. She refused to accept that he was leaving again.

At the Chandler manse, Erica and Bianca talked about Binks's wedding while doing Fusion business. Bianca opened up about having learned of Reese's past engagement. Having been thus alerted, Erica got a suspicious look on her face when she saw a photo in which Reese was gazing lovingly at Zach. Randi
showed up and Erica broke the news about the scandalous porn videos of Randi that had surfaced. She returned home and told Frank the awful news. Frank comforted her and said that he still loved her.

Zach left a message for Myrtle to make sure they were still on for
Christmas. He then barked at Reese and the contractor regarding a setback on his casino renovation. After lashing out at Reese, Zach apologized for the outburst. Reese urged Zach to get his feelings out by speaking to her as if she were Kendall. Zach didn't take kindly to the exercise but ended up in tears. She embraced him consolingly. Erica arrived in time to see their embrace. Zach left to go see his kids. Erica kept what she'd seen to herself and invited Reese to be the architect for her new penthouse. Reese saw
through Erica and asked her if there was something she wanted to say to her. La Kane started it in on Reese's engagement and Reese told her that it was none of her business. Erica made it clear that marrying a Kane woman came with certain strings, like her involvement.... Bianca, meanwhile, was back at the house when Zach came home. She told Zach that she felt like he and Reese were keeping something from her. Reese entered and made it clear to Zach that they had to come clean to Bianca. Zach broke the news that Kendall wasn't going to wake up. Binks was devastated that they'd kept such a secret from her. Bianca broke down in tears over her sister's prognosis. Just then, Zach's phone rang. Zach was expecting Myrtle, but it was Erica. "Myrtle's gone," reported Erica. "She died this morning."

Adam grumbled to JR about how his house had become "estrogen central." Adam reported to JR that David had ordered a high-end Christmas gift for Little Adam.

At Wildwind, David chastised Amanda for having stopped JR from falling off the wagon. She then came to the Chandler manse and saw JR and Little Adam building a snowman. She made nice with JR before heading inside to work.

Krystal came by the manse to see Little Adam and Adam expressed his concern. She told him to go ahead and read her the riot act for spending time with David. Adam tried to subtly manipulate Krystal regarding David and, confident that he had succeeded, told JR that he had perfectly positioned Krystal to block David's next move....

David called Joe to thank him for succumbing to his blackmail. He broke the news to Angie that he was the new chief of staff. Angie was less than thrilled. When Jake got to work and David announced his promotion, Jake was miserable, especially when David said that he wasn't letting Jake anywhere near an operating room. Jake called Joe and got confirmation of the personnel change. He and Angie commiserated. Jake was then interviewed by the military investigator. Jake tried to cover for Brot, but there was no need: With Taylor by his side, Brot materialized to turn himself in.

Krystal came over to Wildwind and enjoyed some more milk (which David insisted had no alcohol in it). David told her about his new job; she congratulated him. He showed her the gift that he'd gotten for Little A and suggested that she give it to the boy and say it was from her. Krystal's suspicions were alerted, as she thought back to Adam's words. Despite this, she accepted David's invitation to dance. But she ran out when he tried to kiss her and crashed her car.

Friday

Pine Valley reeled from the news of Myrtle's passing.

Opal got a gift from Myrtle. Pete encouraged her to open it; she did, discovering that inside was a crystal ball from Myrtle's carnie days. Opal looked closely and saw into Myrtle's past, specifically a moment between Phoebe and Myrtle, then one with Verla, then one with Red.

Zach came to the hospital to inform Kendall of Myrtle's death. He brought along his gift from Myrtle, a memory book. He thought back to their first meeting and other key moments in their close friendship. Patience, Zach concluded, was Myrtle's last message for him. He promised Kendall that was going to try. On his way out of the hospital, he encountered David, who wondered why he had yet to inform Kendall's family of her imminent demise. Zach responded that there was hope for his wife yet. "Just gotta be patient." Zach went to the casino and told the construction workers that the carnival was coming to town.

Jack helped Erica cope with entering Myrtle's boutique. Inside, there was a gift for La Kane from Myrt. Bianca entered with a gift of her own. Jack excused himself to give the women some privacy. Bianca showed Erica her present, a music box similar to the one she'd given Miranda. Erica remarked that she sometimes thinks she and her mother made a secret pact for Myrtle to take care of her after Mona was gone. Both Erica and Bianca thought back to special moments with Myrtle. Erica opened her present, the dress from the awards dinner she had just been recalling to Bianca.

Angie, Jesse and Frank came by the boardinghouse. Angie and Jesse reminisced about the time they had spent there in their youth. Angie recalled Myrtle sticking up for Angie and Jesse to Angie's dad. "Not a lot of people would take on Les Baxter," she smiled. Amanda, another former boardinghouse resident, strolled up, thinking of sound advice she'd received from Myrtle. Ryan and Greenlee were the next to arrive; he'd lived at the boardinghouse
early in his P.V. days. Greens told the group about her bumpy start with Myrtle (courtesy of the way Greenlee had blackmailed Bianca). Just then, Kelly Tyler arrived. Angie introduced her as "like a daughter to Myrtle."

Everyone arrived at the casino, where Zach had arranged for an impromptu carnival for Myrtle. Bianca sang a song in tribute to Myrtle. Aggie, one of Pine Valley's founders, blew her a kiss. Erica took the mic and spoke about her dear friend." Her life was a path all about giving," Erica remarked. She said that she thought Myrtle was taking her place by God's side, in between bridge games with Mona. She asked Zach if he wanted to say a few words, but he had slipped out of view to break down in tears in the elevator. Zach returned after the crowd had thinned out. After everyone left, he gazed upon Myrtle's photo and placed a single rose beside it.
