Monday

At Oak Haven, Annie told Aidan that Tori had been helping her remember things. Aidan gently pointed out that Tori wasn't real. Annie refused to believe it and became hysterical, so orderlies rushed in to restrain her. Aidan told Dr. Burke that he didn't know what had brought on Annie's attack. Dr. Burke wanted to know who Tori was; Aidan covered, worried about Dr. Burke reporting to the district attorney. When a sedated Annie returned to her room, Dr. Burke asked her about Tori. Annie stonewalled him. After the doc left, Aidan urged Annie to think about Tori as a little girl. He shared that he'd done some digging into her past and learned that around the time of her seventh birthday, a little girl named Tori had gone missing. "I killed her!" gasped Annie.

At the Chandler manse, Colby and JR reeled from the police's announcement that Adam's abandoned car had been found. JR pretended to receive a call to throw the cops off the scent. After the officers departed, Tad assured Colby and JR that they would find Adam.

Erica was shocked to find Erica in her hotel suite. He swept her into a kiss. She urged him to return to the hospital. Adam evaded Erica's questions about his condition. La Kane told Adam that Little Adam was in temporary foster care. Adam admitted to Erica that there was something wrong with him, that he wasn't thinking clearly. He described his car accident and insisted that no one but her could know. When Erica told Adam about Ian, he told her to go to the hospital. Adam flung open the door to find JR and Tad. Adam dismissed Erica and invited the men inside. He adamantly declared to Tad and JR that he was in perfectly fine health. Tad left to go talk to Jesse about getting the charges against Adam dropped. JR showed Adam a picture he, Adam, had drawn of Erica, but had no memory of drawing. Adam claimed that he had been pretending to be Stuart.

At the hospital, Ryan saw Kendall and Zach together and left them alone. Kendall excused herself to speak to Ryan, who delivered a card from Spike to Ian. Reese arrived and asked an icy Kendall how Ian was doing. Kendall lashed out at Reese, accusing her of trying to win back Bianca by feigning concern for Ian.... Alone in Ian's room, Zach spoke aloud to Myrtle, asking her to convince God not to take Ian's life. He emerged in time to tell Kendall to lay off Reese. He and Kendall left and Reese invited Ryan to take his own pot shot at her, which Ryan did. Reese reminded Ryan that she doesn't love Zach, she loves Bianca.... Kendall told Zach that she would no longer blame Reese for the problems between them. Their honest moment was cut short by the arrival of David and Erica. "Ian pulled through okay," reported David. David cautioned that Ian wasn't out of the woods. Zach and Kendall exchanged a relieved hug. Erica thanked David for his fine work. Zach echoed the sentiment. David told Zach that Ian had a better than 50
percent chance of surviving.... Reese and Ryan exchanged more harsh words and agreed it was a good thing that they hadn't shared their wedding day.... Kendall and Zach visited Ian as he recovered from surgery. Kendall and Zach held hands as they watched their boy sleep.

Krystal found a pensive David and gave him a pre-surgery pep talk. After lifting David's spirits, she went to the mansion, where Colby went off on her and told her that Adam was missing. Colby and Pete met up at the park; Pete thought that Colby had killed David. Colby was mad when JR called but wouldn't disclose Adam's whereabouts. Krystal returned to the hospital and was glad to hear from David that Ian had survived surgery. Ignoring a pain
in her side, Krystal told David that Adam's abandoned car had been found. David confronted Jesse and Tad in the hallway and blasted Jesse for not informing him about Adam's return. Jesse told David to go away. Tad pressed Jesse to drop the charges against Adam.

Erica caught a snippet of Adam and JR's discussion of Chandler's sorry financial state when she returned to her room. She told Adam and JR that the surgery had gone well. JR left and Erica confronted him about Fusion, pleased that he'd expressed faith in her business savvy to JR. Adam asked Erica if she had faith in him. "Yes," she said, but noted that she worried it would be her downfall.

Tuesday

At Oak Haven, Annie was relieved when Aidan came to visit. She was frightened of what she might see in her dreams if she went to sleep. Aidan pointed out that they didn't know for sure that her childhood self hurt Tori. Aidan asked her to trust him to help her remember. He led her through a memory exercise, back to her seventh birthday. She remembered her father calling for her and her eyes sprang open as she gasped, "She's dead!" She recalled trying to wake Tori up, to no avail, and she remembered a doll. She
got freaked out again when she remembered seeing a baseball bat. Aidan led Annie down to the Oak Haven basement for more memory exercises, this time focused on the doll.

At the Martin house, Tad, Opal and Jake discussed the news that the charges against Adam had been dropped. Tad worried about how David's reaction might hurt Krystal. At Wildwind, Krystal collapsed in pain. Angie examined Krystal, then stunned David with the news that Krystal was pregnant. Angie reported that the pregnancy had been ectopic and Krystal had survived surgery. Tad told David that he felt sorry for Krystal's loss, but not for his.... Angie broke the news about the ectopic pregnancy to Krystal. She
said she was grateful to David for saving Krystal's life, even though she hated the man. David came to Krystal's bedside and told her that he loved her and couldn't bear if anything ever happened to her.... Tad asked Opal to help him with a mission. She agreed. Tad asked Angie how Krystal was. "The worst is yet to come," lamented Angie.

At the hospital, Kendall stood vigil over Ian's crib. Zach offered her support as he greeted his son. They discussed some of the good times they'd had and Kendall told Zach that he was an amazing father. He returned the compliment about her parenting skills. Kendall asked Zach if he still wanted the divorce. Zach replied that Ian's health was all he could focus on; she apologized for bringing it up in the first place. Zach encouraged Kendall to go visit Spike, which she did when Zach promised to call her if Ian's condition changed. Opal came by to offer consolation to Zach and to suggest
that he admit that he wants Kendall back. Invoking Myrtle, Opal opined that Zach and Kendall belong together.... Alone with his son, Zach begged Ian to pull through.

Jake and Amanda made a video for prospective adoptive parents. The baby kicked during taping. Amanda became distressed and asked Jake to stop taping. She came close to kissing Jake, then pulled away. She admitted to Jake that she had a fantasy of raising her baby with Jake. "It's the hormones," she insisted. He lightened the mood by offering to make her some tea. They made another video, this time a joking one, and Amanda had a blast. As they shared a meal, Jake suddenly stopped and declared that he wanted to raise the baby with Amanda. He proposed that they get their passports and leave town together.

At the penthouse, Ryan played hide-and-seek with Spike and Emma. Kendall came over to see her son. She told Ryan that with Ian in the hospital, everything in her life had changed. He made it clear that he didn't want to pressure her about where they stand. She assured him that he makes her happy. She planned to leave with Spike but stayed behind and told Ryan that she loves him.

Wednesday

Brot and Taylor celebrated at Fusion because he had figured out what he
wanted to do with his life. Taylor thought his plan to become a motivational
speaker was spot on but admitted that she had pushed the volunteer
organization in his direction. He was grateful, not mad. She advised him
about how to speak to the vets he'd be addressing.

At Krystal's bedside, David told her that they were going to have another
baby. Angie entered with bad news: Krystal could no longer have children.
Krystal was crushed. David assured Krystal of his love. Angie shared the bad
news with Tad; he wondered why he still felt so invested in Krystal. He and
David exchanged harsh words in the hallway while Angie tended to Krystal.
David was upset to learn that Angie had discharged Krystal.

Aidan prompted Annie to remember what really happened to Tori. She panicked
when she recalled that Richie had been present at the birthday party and
screamed in horror when she saw a particularly horrifying vision of her
brother taunting her for having killed her friend. Aidan helped Annie see
that it was Richie who had killed the girl, not her, and that that's why she
had killed Richie years later. He opined that now that she'd uncovered the
secret of her past, she was free and could heal.

Jake told Amanda that he wanted them to leave town and raise her baby
together. Amanda raised multiple objections, not the least of which is that
David would never stop pursuing them. He vowed to protect her and the baby.
Tad entered and relayed that Krystal can't have more kids, meaning that
David is going to be even more focused on Amanda's unborn tot. Amanda
consented to the plan and Jake assured her that everything would be all
right. Krystal showed up to see Jenny while Jake and Tad talked at ConFusion
about Jake's plan to leave town. Tad speculated that Jake is in love with
Amanda. Tad's contact arrived to help Jake plan fake identities. Tad looked
a bit glum when he overheard Taylor telling a departing Brot that she loves
him. Tad told Taylor that Brot was lucky; she beamed that she was the lucky
one, which wasn't exactly what Tad wanted to hear. Taylor advised Tad to
take his blinders off and open his heart to love. She shot an unseen,
lingering glance in his direction before she left... Krystal admitted to
Amanda that David going after baby was a possibility. David showed up and
greeted Jenny. Krystal left to change Jenny's diaper; Amanda denied David's
request to take Jenny for the night. When Krystal reentered, she said she
didn't want to take Jenny away from her home. David brought Krystal home and
she mournfully gazed at a baby photo. She looked pensive as David observed
that he'd never seen that photo of Babe before.

When Jake got home, Amanda told him that she couldn't flee with him; she
couldn't let him give up his life for a baby and a woman that aren't his.

Brot offered consolation to a crying woman in the hospital waiting room. It
turned out, she just had allergies. Brot saw the humor in the situation.

Thursday

Erica showed up at Ryan's to prepare for their meeting in Philadelphia. He figured out that she wanted to get him away from Kendall. Emma entered, having been sent home from a field trip for hitting another little girl for badmouthing Annie (which the girl admitted only reluctantly). Emma said that she'd seen the picture of Annie covered in blood. "Did she hurt someone?" asked the tot. Ryan did his best to explain the "not-so-nice things" that Annie was guilty of.

JR presented Adam with a report on the cutbacks he'd made at Chandler. He noticed that something was awry with his father. Adam covered. Colby came in and was alarmed by JR's assessment of Chandler's dire financial straits. Erica showed up and defended Adam's investment in Fusion. JR opined that Scott Chandler's production company has to be cut to save money; Adam refused to let JR shut down Scott's work. After Adam and Erica left, JR
noted to Colby that something was off with their dad.... Erica complimented Adam for sticking up for Scott. She tried to buoy his failing spirits. He said one thing would make him feel better and asked her to come upstairs with him. She was charmed but told him to keep on dreaming. Alone with Erica, JR pressed her to tell him what was going on with Adam; she feigned ignorance. When Adam made a memory slip in front of Colby, Erica hurried him
away. Adam refused when Erica suggested that he should tell his kids about his ailment.... JR and Barry met up at ConFusion. Barry expressed his own concern about Adam. Scott showed up unexpectedly and decked JR for withdrawing funding for his company.

Annie woke up at Oak Haven and was happy to see that Aidan had stayed the night. They celebrated her freedom from the guilt of having believed that she had killed Tori. Annie realized that there was unfinished business: resolving matters with Tori's family. Annie also fretted about the impact of her behavior on Emma. Annie was determined to see Emma. Aidan said it was a long shot. He went to see Ryan and told him about Richie murdering Tori and
blaming it on Annie when she was a little girl. "This is the breakthrough we've been waiting for," insisted Aidan, who pleaded with Ryan to let Annie see Emma. "No way in hell," was Ryan's response. Aidan convinced Ryan to visit Oak Haven. Annie was disappointed that Ryan didn't bring Emma but said she couldn't expect Ryan to trust her.

Kendall showed up to see Ian as Zach slept in the corner. Zach woke up and updated Kendall in Ian's progress. Kendall acknowledged to Zach that she hadn't fairly assessed the support he'd shown her during her own coma, leading to a major moment of tenderness between them. Kendall observed the toll Ian's predicament was taking on Zach and convinced him to go home for a bit, assuring her baby that she and Zach were a team, "Team Slater." She apologized to Ian for her selfishness.... Zach went home and looked at the divorce papers. He then sat down to try to explain to Spike why Ian couldn't come home yet. He brought Spike to the hospital to see his sibling. "Everything I need is here in this room," said Zach as he gazed at Kendall and the boys.

Friday

Randi wanted Frank to leave work to spend their last day together, but he said he couldn't. He was looking forward to their last evening together. David told Frank that he was impressed with him and offered to mentor him when he got back. Frank thanked him. Randi summoned Frank to an examination room, where she was waiting with lit candles and very little clothing. They began to make love after she assured him that she had gotten Jake to cover
his shift. Afterwards, while Randi slept, Frank was plagued by visions of combat.

At ConFusion, Scott decked JR for cutting the funding to his production company. JR told Barry that there was no need to call the cops. The cousins exchanged harsh words. When Scott brought up Babe, JR told him to shut up. David arrived and took an immediate shine to Scott for causing JR dismay. Scott greeted David warmly with a handshake. Scott told David that he was working on a new project but a page called David away. JR blasted Scott for "sucking up to Hayward." Stuart arrived to welcome his son home. Father and son caught up. Scott was excited about a new project that, he said, could save many lives.... David went back to the hospital and looked something up on his computer. Its contents made him gasp, "Scott Chandler, where have you been all my life?".... Stuart loved Scott's mysterious idea and expressed his pride. David returned to talk to Scott. He wanted to set up a meeting regarding Scott's new venture.

When Ryan visited Annie at Oak Haven, she pushed for a visit with Emma. He was understandably reluctant to buy that she had improved as sharply as she claimed. He got mad when she invoked what had happened with Greenlee. As Aidan entered, Annie noted that Ryan blamed her for Greenlee's death. After Ryan left, Aidan followed him to berate him for giving Annie a hard time. Ryan made it clear that Emma wasn't coming anywhere near Oak Haven.... Dr. Burke showed the cops in to see Annie. Aidan said that it was time for the cops to hear about Tori's death from her. She told them the whole sordid tale, earning praise from Aidan. After Devane left, Annie used his cell phone, which she had pocketed, to call Emma. She told the little girl she'd see her soon, maybe even tonight.... Aidan figured out that Annie had his phone.

Erica and Kendall were thrilled when Zach told Kendall that Ian could come home. Zach and Kendall squeezed hands. Zach told David that he wouldn't forget his role in saving Ian's life. Erica left a message for Ryan, then went to the penthouse with a truckload of gifts for Emma. When Ryan got home, Erica coaxed him into accompanying her to Philadelphia. Their car broke down along the way and their phones weren't getting service. Oil spurted over them, sending Erica into a panic. He goaded her further by saying he was going to go to Kendall's, so she admitted that she had been
desperate to get him out of town and away from Kendall. She broke down crying about the changes in her daughter post-coma and the focus it necessitated her to put on issues other than her own happiness. A bemused Ryan comforted her during the meltdown. Erica told Ryan that if he played his cards right, he could even have her.

Zach and Kendall brought the boys home. Zach said he had moved Ian's crib into his and Kendall's bedroom, then apologized for referring to it as "their" bedroom. The strong bond between them was obvious as they each tried not to hover over Ian. Zach wrapped his arms around Kendall and kissed her head softly. He broke away from the intimate moment. She pulled Zach into a kiss.
