Monday

Kendall tried to explain to Greenlee how she and Ryan had ended up sleeping together. An icy Greens wanted to know what really happened the night of her accident. As Kendall spoke, Greenlee figured out what Kendall was trying to tell her — that it was Kendall who ran her off the road. Greenlee declared her belief that Kendall was trying to kill her to have Ryan all to herself.

Tad tried to keep an antsy Damon calm. Angie refused to give Damon more pain meds but eventually acquiesced. Tad and Angie privately discussed Angie's desire to send Damon to a psychiatrist. Tad speculated that Damon is trying to stay in the hospital lest his probation be revoked. Tad then beseeched Damon to consider therapy. He explained that Damon might have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

In the courtroom, David was permitted to tend to Adam, who had collapsed on the floor. Brooke pleaded with the judge to let David accompany Adam to the hospital. The judge agreed after Jesse said that he would personally escort David. Colby and Scott got to the hospital. Scott told Colby to tell JR to give up on getting the goods on Annie and to come home. Colby defended her brother. Back at the courthouse, Jack confronted Liza about defending David. Liza was upset when Jack reported that Greenlee had left town for "personal" reasons. Liza left a message for Greenlee, demanding that she return home to testify. At the hospital, David told Adam's loved ones that he hadn't had a heart attack. Brooke and Scott bickered about whether David had saved Adam's life or put him in a life-threatening position. David told the group that Adam needs a lifestyle change, "like retirement." David made it clear that if Adam doesn't significantly reduce the stress in his life, he will die. Adam demanded to go home; Brooke tended to him.

David smirked to the Hubbards that after saving Adam's life, no jury will convict him. Angie grumbled to Jesse that she couldn't handle David coming back to the hospital.

JR and Annie had sex. He seemed shell-shocked afterwards. "How the hell could I let this happen?" wondered a panicked JR. Furious with himself, he shattered a mirror after she slinked out of his room. When Marissa surprised JR in his hotel room, a guilt-ridden JR tried to cover the broken mirror and his own odd behavior. JR and Marissa were embracing when Annie entered. Colby called to tell JR about Adam. Annie and JR's guilt intensified as they prepared to hurry back to Adam's side.

Tuesday

Liza consulted with David in his jail cell. David wanted to know where Greenlee had disappeared to. Liza admitted to David that she had told Greenlee that there was another vehicle involved in her accident. David blew a gasket when he realized that Greens had gone after Kendall. David summoned Jack, who confirmed that Greenlee had gone to Spain to see Kendall. David spat that the people who claim to love Greenlee, Jack included, only want to control her. David assured Jack that he wouldn't be going to jail. Jack let David know that Ryan had gone to Spain, as well. When Liza returned, David told her that she had to change her courtroom strategy to ensure his acquittal. He told her to find someone for him to bribe because he had to be there to help put Greenlee back together again.

Kendall vehemently denied to Greenlee that she deliberately ran her off the road in order to get Ryan all to herself. The ladies' conversation grew spiteful as they threw their past misdeeds against each other in one another's faces. Zach's arrival put their squabble on hold as he embraced Greens warmly. Zach requested to speak to Greenlee alone so Kendall exited. Greenlee asked Zach if he had genuinely been able to forgive Kendall and Ryan for their affair. "No," admitted Zach. He also admitted that he doesn't love Kendall the way he did before she had slept with Ryan.

Erica vented to Ryan about Greenlee having gone to see Kendall. Ryan was confident that Kendall could handle Greenlee and refused to intervene. Ryan explained that he was in Spain to see Spike. Ryan took away Erica's key to stop her from interrupting Kendall and Greenlee. The conversation turned to Jack, with Erica complaining about her ex's obsession with his daughter. Kendall showed up and Ryan was dismayed to learn that Greens thinks Kendall tried to kill her. Kendall assured Erica that she would be fine and that Erica should go visit Bianca as planned. Ryan told Kendall that something inside Greenlee was dead.

Marissa got an update on Adam's condition from Colby. Adam and Brooke explained to JR and Annie what had happened in the courtroom. At Brooke's prompting, Adam admitted that he had been feeling unwell for some time. Annie was upset with Adam for telling Brooke before her and JR told her to stay calm. While Annie vented to Brooke about Brooke moving in on Adam (which Brooke denied), JR and Adam discussed how things had gone between JR and Annie in D.C. (JR, obviously, did not disclose all the details of their trip.) JR left to give Annie and Adam time to speak. JR lost his temper with Colby when she pressed him for details about D.C. JR then privately told Annie that what happened in D.C. could never happen again; she agreed. Annie was upset when Adam insisted that his doctor wouldn't allow them to share a bed. JR was guilt-ridden when Marissa told him how proud she was of him. Annie and JR exchanged a fraught glance that did not go unnoticed by Colby.

Wednesday

Jake and Amanda went to ConFusion. Natalia and Amanda discussed their modeling while Jake chatted with Brot. Amanda asked Nat about her feelings for Brot; Jake probed Brot about his feelings for Nat. Brot didn't think that Natalia would go for him now that she's a model. Amanda tried to make Nat see that Brot's ribbing of her is a form of flirting. Jake encouraged Brot to ask Natalia out. Brot sighed that he had been getting mixed signals from Nat. Jake and Amanda left and Brot invited Natalia to stay for a drink. She said no because she had to get up early. "What are you so afraid of?" he asked her. She told Brot that her modeling was her business, not his. He asked if he could give her a ride home. When he gave her a peck on the lips, she freaked out and left.

At the hotel, Kendall told Ryan that they have to fix things with Greenlee. Ryan filled in Kendall about his attempts to get through to Greens. Kendall updated Ryan on how things were going with Zach. Kendall expressed her belief that now that Greenlee's back, she should go back to Pine Valley.

On the boat, Zach and Greenlee had a heart-to-heart about the state of his union with Kendall. She scoffed that he was a fool to think that he and Kendall could ever go back to the way things were before her affair with Ryan. Zach countered that Greenlee needed to face and fight for her feelings for Ryan. Zach delivered some tough love to Greens as he accused her of playing a role in her own accident by forsaking Ryan to get on the motorcycle in the first place. Ryan and Kendall entered after Zach asked Greens not to mess with his family. Greens remained hostile toward Kendall and Ryan. Zach was clearly upset when Kendall proposed that they all return to Pine Valley to work on things between them. Spike and Ian entered with their nanny and Zach and Greenlee watched as Ryan and Kendall showed Spike with love. Once alone with Greenlee, Kendall told her that when Greens was ready to work on things, she would be there. Greens stormed out. Zach had no luck trying to find her. Kendall told him that she thought they should go home. He told her that he wouldn't stop her from returning to Pine Valley but that he wouldn't go with her. Greenlee went to the airport and thought back to Zach's words. When asked where she planned to purchase a ticket to, Greens was unsure of her destination.

Annie spied on JR and Marissa kissing and slipped away. Marissa went upstairs and Scott grilled JR about what had happened between JR and Annie in Washington. The conversation grew heated as Scott railed at JR for risking his wife and son for his vendetta against Marissa. Annie then asked JR privately where they stood. She admitted that she felt something for him and knows that he did too. JR reiterated that they should pretend that D.C. never happened. "What if I change my mind?" she asked. Annie told JR that she didn't have many friends and that she cared about him. JR told Annie that he loves his wife but admitted that he desires her (Annie).

Thursday

At Fusion, Jake, Amanda and Randi looked at Amanda's latest correspondence from "AmandaFan." Jake went to run an errand for Amanda and Amanda theorized to Randi that Jake is her secret admirer. Certain she was right, Amanda wrote a reply to "AmandaFan." When Jake returned, he insisted to Amanda that he isn't "AmandaFan." Amanda was puzzled as to who could be sending the messages and told Jake that she wrote back.

Jesse and Tad discussed Damon's odds of not going to jail in the wake of the car accident. At the hospital, Damon resisted Angie's efforts to get him to see a therapist. Damon ragged Angie for covering for Frank when she saw him with the pills. Jesse and Angie met up in the hospital and chatted about Damon. Jesse volunteered to speak to Damon himself. Jesse painted a picture for Damon of what a jail stint might be like for him to try to get Damon to change his ways.

At the Chandler manse, Adam asked Brooke to stay for the announcement he planned to make to his family. Annie nearly caught JR checking out the video footage he'd secretly taped of their roll in the hay. He reiterated that he doesn't want to hurt Marissa. When Marissa entered, Annie and JR tried to conceal the awkwardness between them. Annie apologized to Adam for the jealousy she'd been displaying toward Brooke. Adam gathered Colby, JR, Scott, Annie and Marissa together and informed the family that he was stepping down from Chandler Enterprises. He told JR and Scott that they were now in control of the business. JR and Annie couldn't stop fantasizing about each other (though hers were lusty and his were vicious). Marissa then reached out to Annie as a friend. Annie told JR that she wanted to talk to him because she couldn't stop thinking about him. She pulled him into a kiss.

Brooke and Tad met in the park to discuss Damon. Brooke agreed to write a letter to the judge on Damon's behalf provided that Damon agreed to do an article for Tempo and do a public service announcement about the dangers of texting while driving. Tad revealed to a stunned Brooke that he is Damon's father. Brooke opened up to Tad about her feelings for Adam. Tad struggled to be supportive of an Adam/Brooke reunion, then returned to the hospital to visit Damon. Brooke returned home and gave Adam a pep talk when Adam wondered what he was going to do with himself now that he's retired. He pulled Brooke into a passionate kiss.

Friday

Kendall asked Zach to come to Pine Valley with her, but he refused and offered her an ultimatum: him or Pine Valley. Kendall confessed to not being able to leave Pine Valley behind forever. The two couldn't find a common ground, and Kendall called Zach selfish. Zach didn't budge from his stance, confessing he believed their relationship is strongest on the boat. Zach confessed he was scared he would lose Kendall if she went, but knew she had to go...eventually. Kendall said goodbye to her family, making Zach promise that one day, after they fix their problems, they could go home.

Adam and Brooke kissed as Annie kissed JR in an adjacent room. Both couples were startled when they ran into each other, making up lies about what they had been doing. Adam mentioned again that he would be stepping down from the company and would rely on Annie and JR to keep him informed. After Brooke and Adam left, JR still couldn't believe Annie kissed him. Annie, feeling a deep connection to JR, asked him if they could really be together. Annie thought Adam was ready to move on with Brooke, which would make her and JR less guilty. JR told her she was crazy if she thought he was willing to lose his father or his wife over a "whack job" like her. Annie slapped him and stormed out, only to run into Marissa, who saw she was upset. Annie told Marissa there wasn't anything wrong.

JR had taped the conversation between him and Annie to use against her, but he also caught Adam and Brooke's loving embrace on camera. Marissa walked in and saw the video. JR told Marissa he was trying to catch Annie and Scott on video so Adam would kick her out. Marissa could not believe he would do that after what Annie did for him. JR gave in and destroyed the video because Marissa was afraid it would only cause more pain.

When Adam met up with Brooke, he questioned why they were no longer together, and wondered what life would have been like, acknowledging that "everything might be different." Brooke refused to even think about the two of them getting back together, because she didn't want to break up his marriage to Annie. Adam frantically confessed, "I can't risk losing you." Brooke, still trying to deny her feelings, replied, "I am not yours to lose."

At the courthouse, Erica was upset to learn from Ryan that Kendall was returning to Pine Valley to mend fences with Greenlee. Liza's last move was putting David on the stand, which she tried to avoid at all costs. While on the stand, the coroner confessed to accepting a bribe from David to make it look like Greenlee had died. Liza questioned the credibility of the coroner as a witness. After being denied a brief recess, David was ready to take the stand as Greenlee walked into the courtroom. Greenlee asked the judge to allow her to testify, after David demanded Liza not put her on the stand.

While on the stand, Greenlee testified that Kendall should be tried for attempted murder. She then confessed she was awake the entire time she was with David, and that she wasn't in a coma as she had originally stated. She told the courtroom she had asked David to keep her being alive a secret. After Liza's closing argument, Erica questioned whether or not Greenlee really thought Kendall meant to hurt her. Greenlee believed Kendall was capable and said, "She is your daughter, after all." Erica continued to defend Kendall, but Greenlee didn't want to hear it, and walked out. The jury found David not guilty on all charges.

An outraged Erica was grasping at straws to protect her daughter, but Jesse and Ryan couldn't do anything to help her. Erica called Kendall to warn her. She gave Kendall orders to stay at the airport and she would meet her there. When Erica arrived at the airport to greet Kendall, Jesse was there with orders to take Kendall in for questioning as soon as she arrived.

Ryan met up with Greenlee at Fusion to talk about everything. He told her he was bothered by all the lies. The lie that bothered him the most was the one he'd been telling himself: "The lie that we still have a chance." Ryan couldn't believe Greenlee would hurt Kendall like this since she was the best friend Greenlee ever had. He told her he could not love someone that would stoop that low — and walked out.
