I just noticed a trend that has been going on for the Former AMC cast members. Does anyone else think it's funny how so many AMC stars end up on Y&R? Cliff, Mia, Maggie, Richie and now Bianca..... Just thought I would bring that funny fact up. Who do you think will be next? LOL
I also forgot, David Hayward was on Y&R for a brief stint....Let's face it, Y&R is the show to go to for all AMC soap stars that are tired of getting screwed over from the horrible writing staff of AMC...LOL

I miss the doctor drama & the families of the doctors. What they do today is not for me....DNA switches, the dead coming back over & over & over...blah. Give me drama, love & some real life, stories. Stories the viewer can get into. AMC's fiction is more science fiction.

It was The Hurt Locker, a movie whose content was about real people intead of blue Avatar's and what have you. I too am sick of characters, particularly, Ryan and Greenlee who come back from the dead, or from wherever they were, and have not learned anything from their near death experiences or have gained any insight or humanity. They are still the same self entitled arrogant characters that existed five years ago. Idiot Greenlee wants revenge because people went on with their lives when they thought she was dead. Greenlee is still a b#4%tch, and they kept that in character, but that's all she is. She makes a good sidekick, but as a lead actress no. She's tiresome and on too much.JR's cancer storyline is the only good storyline on now. I think Jacob Young is doing a good job. I've never been a fan of his, but he is shining in this. Lorraine Broderick seems to have done some research into bone marrow donation and Hodgkins. The only chink in this storyline is Annie. It looks as though they are doing the same thing that Pratt did with this character and that is to create a storyline for her because she certainly has no place in PV anymore. AMC lost its civilization and humanity when they did not write this character out after she cold bloodedly killed her brother. I hope Lorraine Broderick or the new writers correct that error, Emmy prenom or not. Please let's add some romance to the agenda. Ryan/Greenlee and David are so unromantic, Greenlee is cold and unfeeling even in love scenes and Jamanda are still morons.
I was so excited when Brot came on. A real, true American hero. Then he was stuck on the back burner on low heat. Big mistake in my book. btw. I love The Hurt Locker!!! Cried & wanted to be with my son (he's a Marine) watching it, but I prefer real movies.
I agree with the point that Greenlee being a lead character. I think she has the potential to be a leading lady, but TPTB are going to have to start taking Greenlee in a different direction. It's time for her to grow up a bit. I like her feisty nature, but I think it's time to stop throwing such a fit when things don't go her way. As far as Ryan is concerned, they have some serious damage control to do, before the fans can even think of liking this character. He has become so bull-headed and arrogant that it's quite intolerable to watch. Something big needs to happen....think I've stated before that they need to do what GH did to the character Jason. Let Ryan get in some kind of accident and when he comes to let him have a completely different personality. And don't mistake this idea for the one where he wakes up and can't remember people....been there, done that. He needs to wake up with a completely different persona. This might give him some new edge that the audience might warm up to...cause as it stands, right now, the audience can't stand him.It would be nice to see AMC focus on more real life types of situations. Everything has gotten so stagnate. They keep doing the same memory loss, come back from the dead stories over and over.....and it's gotten really old and tiresome. And when they did the murder mystery of Stuart, it really wasn't that captivating. I remember back when Will Cordtland was murdered with almost the entire cast as suspects, and they through a curve ball at us and we found out Janet did it.Plus, the show is soooo lacking in the romance department. Is anyone in love on AMC? I mean, I thought we were going to see a happily ever after for Jake and Amanda, but Jake seems to devote most of his time to David. Maybe they should have considered putting these two as a couple, since Jake can't seem to get David off of his mind...LOLFocus more on some of your stronger actors and fan faves....The Hubbards, Revive the Cordtlands, make us care about the Chandler's again, the Martins need something to light their fire and save the teenage and young love stories for the summer time, when they are supposed to be run....In other words it's time for AMC to get a much needed face lift.

I think that since David Canary is retiring from AMC, it would be great for him to jump to Y&R and become Kay's ex and Tucker's dad. Wow, Katherine and Adam together, what a fabulous combination. JMO!
