Monday

Krystal tried to convince David that he wasn't responsible for his baby's death. He apologized for everything he had put her through and they shared a kiss, which was interrupted by Marissa's arrival. JR showed up and David demanded to know what was going on between JR and Marissa, making his disapproval obvious. Marissa tried to stop the squabbling that ensued, defending JR. Krystal asked David to drive her home, leaving JR and Marissa alone at the cemetery. JR admitted that when he had kissed her, he was thinking of Babe. She was bummed to hear it and walked out. At Babe's grave, JR spoke to his late wife, who appeared before him. JR told her that he didn't think he would ever be able to love again and wondered if she would let him try. She reached out and stroked his cheek before disappearing.

Amanda showed up in the basement while Jake and Liza were faking Liza's labor. They tried not to betray their panic when Amanda reported that Colby had called the paramedics. Liza groused about Tad not being back with the baby. Meanwhile, Tad was pulled over by the cops. He managed to worm his way out of the situation and he lowered the newborn in to Jake through the basement window. Colby, Pete, Amanda and the paramedics could hear the baby's cries upstairs. Jake came upstairs and reported that the baby was healthy. Tad "returned home" and faked chest pains to stop the paramedics from having to examine the baby. Downstairs, Jake and Liza doctored the scene to make it look like a baby had just been born there. Colby came downstairs and Liza introduced her to her little brother. Liza told Colby that she was going to call the baby Stuart. Amanda struggled emotionally when she heard the baby's cries; Jake promised her that everything would be okay.... David and Krystal returned home and Amanda reported that Liza had had the baby. Amanda broke down in Krystal's arms. David, too, was affected by hearing the baby's cries. Jake and Amanda came downstairs and Amanda asked to see the newborn. "He's really beautiful," she told Liza with difficulty. But she did not recognize the boy as her own.

In the Chandler manse, Annie accidentally fired the gun and all hell broke loose. Adam blasted Ryan and Erica for trespassing and they left. Annie told Adam that she had been lost for a moment. He noted that she had been staring at the spot where Stuart was shot and asked if there was anything she wanted to tell him. Annie vehemently denied his suspicions about whether she could have shot Stuart. Aidan listened in via a bug he'd planted.

Back at the penthouse, Ryan and Erica discussed what had transpired at the mansion. Ryan said that he didn't know what Annie was capable of but thinks there's a good chance that Annie killed Stuart. Aidan came over and demanded to know why Ryan hadn't called the cops on Annie. Ryan said they had to wait for Annie to make a bigger mistake. The men concurred that it was up to them to prove that Annie killed Stuart.

Erica went back to see Adam. She tried to understand his relationship with Annie. He told her it was none of her business. Erica told Adam that Annie killed Stuart and will eventually kill him. He told her to leave. Later, Erica watched from the terrace as Adam and Annie kissed.

At the hospital, Angie insisted on Tad being examined. Taylor was mystified when Pete told her that Tad had a heart attack. Angie gave Tad a clean bill of health. Tad saw Taylor, who informed him that she had returned Brot's engagement ring. Tad promptly asked Taylor out.

Tuesday

Tad woke up from a nightmare to find Liza there. Tad assured Liza that he thinks she'll be a great mom to the new baby. Colby arrived and Liza took her to see the baby. Emma and Kathy entered and Tad told them to go off and play. He closed his eyes again and had more flashbacks to the night of the murder. He recalled seeing Emma at the mansion, asking for her mommmy.... When Colby spied Liza's pregnancy pad, she was forced to cover.

Ryan came to see Zach and Kendall and told them that he thinks Annie killed Stuart. Zach thought it was too soon for Ryan to go to the D.A. and advised Ryan to steer clear of North. Zach went to the casino after getting word that Madison was there again. Kendall informed Rachel that she was going to the office, then left.... Zach approached Madison as she was getting herself into greater gambling debt. Madison denied that she had called Zach and hung
up. Zach needled Madison about her unhappy marriage but Madison claimed that she refused to turn against Henry. "Nothing can possibly save your wife now," she insisted.

At the Chandler manse, Adam told Annie that he'd gotten rid of the gun. She begged him to believe that she didn't kill Stuart; he said that he believed her. JR walked in and made a snide remark about Adam and Annie's closeness. Scott was unmoved when Annie expressed her condolences over Stuart. Adam told JR that Annie was none of his business. Annie made plans for a private
dinner for herself and Adam, then was surprised by a visit from Kendall. Kendall told Annie that her trial had been moved up to next week and asked Annie to help her prove her innocence. Annie quickly became suspicious of Kendall's interests in her own whereabouts on the night of the murder and declared that she had killed Stuart. She quickly told Kendall that she wasn't being serious; she was just calling Kendall out on her desire to get her to confess.

Ryan went to pick up Emma at the Martins and Tad told him that he was starting to remember things from the night he was shot. He told Ryan about seeing Emma and also recalled seeing a woman with long hair. Tad acknowledged that the woman could be Annie. Ryan brought Tad to see North and told him that Tad remembers seeing Annie running from the terrace on the night of the murder. Tad clarified that he had seen Emma and then a woman. North got Tad to admit that he might have seen Kendall, not Annie. Ryan's
insistence that Tad had seen Annie, not Kendall, fell on North's deaf ears. Zach was upset when he walked in to find Tad and Ryan in North's office.

Adam, JR and Scott went to Chandler Enterprises to discuss Scott's new mission statement for the company. He wanted Chandler's name to be equated not with greed, but with giving back. Adam wasn't sold and JR sided with his dad. Scott was disgruntled. Adam told JR to save the company and asked JR to talk Scott down "for Stuart's sake." JR followed Scott to the yacht club. Scott announced that he planned to resign and leave Pine Valley soon. JR asked him to reconsider. Scott said he would stay if, after the company got back on its feet, a portion of its proceeds would go to the environment and other important causes. JR agreed and the cousins hugged.

At the hospital, Amanda opened up to Jake about her postpartum depression. They then came to see Liza and the baby. Amanda asked to hold the boy. Jake and Liza shared a loaded look as Amanda snuggled the newborn. Amanda referred to the boy as hers, then dismissed her comment as baby talk. She quickly handed the baby back and ran upstairs. Colby went to see if she was okay. Jake and Amanda decided to take their leave. Colby told Liza that she wants to move in with her. Liza was elated.... Jake and Amanda went to ConFusion; her appetite was suffering. Amanda asked Jake to tell her who has her baby.

Wednesday

Zach entered North's office, where North berated Ryan for trying to use Tad
to clear Kendall's name and Zach for trying to use Madison to get under
North's skin. Tad excused himself. North gave Ryan a summons to testify at
the trial and said that Tad would be receiving one soon. Ryan and Zach
argued about Ryan having gone to see North and making things worse with his
Tad maneuver. Zach hissed that he would get his wife off himself. North went
to the casino and blasted Madison for talking about him to Zach. She stormed
off after their nasty argument and sat down with Zach, telling him that
North is capable of love, but not capable of loving her. She told Zach about
the broken heart North had suffered before she met him and informed him that
Henry was going to D.C. for the weekend. Zach summoned a car to drive
Madison home. She asked him to tell her if he finds out that in D.C., Henry
hooked up with the same woman more than once.

At ConFusion, Amanda pressed Jake for details about the family that had
adopted her son. He concocted a tale for Amanda about the non-existent
adoptive parents. Tad overheard Jake's fairy tale and, after Amanda left,
urged Jake to come clean with his wife. When Amanda returned, the men
claimed just to be chatting about Liza's newborn. Tad excused himself. Jake
tried to get Amanda's mind off the baby and she agreed to go home, where
they made love.

Erica barged into Aidan's car, where he was monitoring the Chandler mansion
with surveillance equipment. They heard Kendall and Annie bickering inside
about Kendall's attempt to get Annie to confess to Stuart's murder. Aidan
had to go after Erica when she decided to interrupt the women's
confrontation. Adam beat her to the punch and was about to throw Kendall out
when Erica entered the fray. Kendall maintained her innocence and pointed
the finger at Annie to Adam. The Kanes left and Annie accepted a comforting
hug from Adam, who vowed that he wouldn't let her pay for Kendall's
crime.... Erica and Kendall went to Ryan's and filled him in about what had
happened at the manse. Kendall began to give up hope on ever proving that
Annie is guilty but Ryan was confident that he could get Annie to crack.
Kendall thought they should work the North angle.... Annie had a flashback
to Stuart's murder but broke from her reverie when a snooping Aidan made a
noise on the terrace. She continued to remember more about the night of the
murder. Aidan revealed himself and asked Annie what was on her mind as she
fingered the spot on the ground where a gun had fallen on that fateful
night. She accused him of working with Ryan and Erica. Aidan accused Annie
of killing Stuart and using Adam as an alibi. She responded by screaming at
the top of her lungs. Annie told Aidan to go, which he did. Adam rushed out
and Annie threw herself into his arms, thanking Adam for "saving" her. He
said that for her own protection, she'd be sleeping with him now.

Ryan told Erica that Kendall was right: they needed to turn up the heat on
Annie. Erica worried that Annie would see through their efforts. She
proposed using Emma as an instigator. Ryan wasn't comfortable with the idea.
Erica lamented that there was no way for them to get Kendall out of this
mess. Ryan promised Erica that he wouldn't allow her to lose another
daughter. She told him he trusted him with her daughter's life.

At the casino, Kendall told Zach that she had blown it with Annie. Zach got
a call and said that he had to go. He beseeched her not to do anything
stupid in his absence. Tad bumped into her and told her that he had been
summoned. Tad told Kendall that he had seen her on the night of the murder
both in the foyer and on the terrace. Jesse heard Kendall saying to Tad,
"You can't tell anyone that."

Randi and Frank smooched in his hospital room. Natalia interrupted. Randi
returned home with her as Nat was packing up her belongings. Natalia told
Randi about how difficult North was making things for Jesse. Natalie left to
run errands and North entered, much to Randi's chagrin. Henry pressed Randi
again to go away with him. Randi threatened to tell Madison or the press
that he had once dropped charges against her in exchange for sex. Randi
pledged her support to Kendall, which irked North. North retaliated with a
threat against Jesse.... Frankie was psyched when Nat came by with food....
Randi was shocked when Zach came by unexpectedly.

Thursday

Jesse walked in on Tad and Kendall's conversation about what Tad had seen on
the night of the murder. Jesse concurred that North had it in for Kendall
and told her that he was being forced to testify. Jesse berated Tad for not
coming to him with the suspicions he and Ryan were nursing about Annie. Tad
and Jesse imagined what it would be like to testify. After North pressed
Frank for info about his marriage, Jesse spoke to North, who refused to
consider Annie as a suspect and put pressure on him to find concrete
evidence against Kendall.

Ryan and Erica chatted at his penthouse about Adam and true love. They
exchanged a tender good night. Kendall showed up as Erica was leaving and
imagined her mom being railroaded by North on the stand. She assured her mom
that everything would be fine, then entered the penthouse and hurled herself
into Ryan's arms, telling him that everything was falling apart. They
discussed how Ryan would have to testify against her. Ryan thought that they
still had a shot at proving that Annie is guilty. She was upset with herself
for having gotten so caught up with him that she had neglected her family.
He sighed that she hadn't been alone in that. She left.

Randi admitted to Zach that she shared a past with Henry and that he had
been in love with her. She then went to the hospital, where she heard Henry
telling Jesse that he's heading to D.C. Zach went to the casino and learned
that Madison had left 10 minutes earlier. Erica showed up and lamented to
Zach that they were running out of options.

Annie reviewed for Adam what transpired on the night of the murder. Adam's
guard interrupted with Aidan and announced that Aidan had bugged the
mansion. Aidan tried to persuade Adam that Annie killed Stuart. Adam wanted
to call the cops; Annie wanted Adam to release her ex. He complied. At the
casino, Aidan warned Erica that Adam and Annie were on to them. Erica went
to the Chandler manse and triggered an alarm. Adam and the guards went to
shut off the alarm and Annie and Erica traded insults in the study. Erica
accused Annie of killing Stuart and Annie snapped and began to strangle
Erica as Adam pounded on the door.

Frank and Randi discussed Henry's efforts to undermine Jesse. Randi told
Frank that she had to go out of town for the weekend to represent Fusion at
a work event. North settled into his room in D.C. and was pleasantly
surprised when Randi showed up. North asked for sex in exchange for backing
off of the Hubbards.

Zach was upset when he got to Ryan's and discovered that Kendall was no
longer there. He left after vowing to save his wife. Kendall returned home
and imagined herself on the stand. She then snuggled with her sons and told
them that she had something important to tell them. By the time Zach got
home, she was gone. Rachel told Zach that she didn't know where Kendall was.
Ryan, too, failed to reach her.
