I think we need this to set the stage for the downfall of Adam, if it's physical he can deal with it but love to watch him go nuts trying to deal with something (no pun intended) he can't see. Let's see how smart he really is. As for Victor being onto him you may be right so it just might turn out to be a double whammy.
