ATWT actress charged with DUI

Emmy-nominated As the World Turns actress Colleen Zenk Pinter (Barbara Ryan) was arrested last week on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
The 57-year-old actress was pulled over by police in Wilton, Connecticut, for erratic driving and crossing into the oncoming lane of traffic around 1:00am on Thursday, April 1. Upon suspicion of her intoxication, police officers asked Pinter to submit to field sobriety tests, which she failed. Pinter was taken into custody and charged with DUI and improper lane usage.
The Norwalk Hour reports that Pinter had a blood alcohol count of .119, which is over the limit of .08.
The actress is scheduled to appear in court on April 15. The actress could face a $1,000 fine and up to three months in jail.
Pinter debuted on As the World Turns in 1978. In 2002, she was nominated for an Outstanding Supporting Actress Daytime Emmy.
weird thing was..right after I saw this story somewhere else her character got drunk at Henry and Vienna's engagement party...thought that was a strange coincidence since there was some talk about how her character got home and did she drive etc...

she has been thru hell the last couple of years with her cancer. Still no excuse for driving while drinking but I feel for her. My cousin passed away in Sept from the same cancer she had.
