"...Digest: And what about the menfolk, like Zach and Ryan?
I'm gonna smarten them up and not have them be reactive. I think that will heighten these romances and these triangles, make them clear-cut and put real tension between the people as opposed to things coming from the outside. It'll come from within them and who they are. As I explore them, the audience gets to re-explore them...."
Looks like some of the upcoming changes, could be a lot of fun. At the very least, it's going to be interesting to watch and see what changes the writing team will make. Pratt seems as if he has some definate ideas for a shift in direction for the show.

Hi, KathyNYC! Right now, it may be a bit soon to tell just how Pratt will handle female characters. Whatever direction he chooses, be it positive or negative, I'm sure fans will be quick to respond.brtedi
Judging by his interviews Pratt already been Fronsed and is getting off on the wrong foot. Just mentioning the sextet is enough to make me turn the channel. When will these people get it that we are not interested. Ryan and Greenlee have been front and center since January and the ratings have gone from bad to worse and yet he still wants to keep them front and center. GMAFBGive Zach and Kendall their own story without the other four. The viewers have not forgotten that Greenlee kidnapped Spike and we won't forget until she answers for it. Put Ryan on the backburner or, better yet, send him far far away. What we want is character driven stories.
I don't even TIVO AMC anymore. Pratt didn't do all that great at GH.When are the networks going to realize that they need to get writers developed instead of just recycling the used ones from other show??
I don't even watch AMC anymore and I used to love it and I just can't belive that Erica wore a orange jumpsuit/dress when she was released from prison, musta liked the color.

I am sooo over Erica. Can't they write her as a wise, mature, attractive business woman instead of a self important narcissist who is more concerned about the men she wants than anything else?? Granted, this is the way the character has always been written, but how can she age gracefully if they keep dressing her and making her up like she is 35 instead of 55. She doesn't have to be dowdy, but come on with the skirts up to her rear and the blouses and corsets that have her boobs popping out. She needs to be elegant, not trashy. Even Krystal (who came to town dressing slutty) looks more classy.(but then I love Krystal...)
