When I recently spoke to Lindsay Hartley (Cara, ALL MY CHILDREN), I told her I loved the way she and Michael E. Knight (Tad) click together onscreen. A lot of the fans do, too. She was tickled. "Thanks!" Hartley gushed.

Note to Y&R's Sharon: Love the new hair color but since your tresses are still the same length, you just look like Brunette Sharon in tart wear. That's not how to be on the run. Why didn't you just simply don a short, dark wig like a true fugitive instead of spending several time-consuming minutes (better spent on fleeing) with a bottle of dye?

AMC, what are you thinking? That's what I was thinking watching today's show, in which Kendall dreamed about smooching Griffin in the living room of the house Zach built for her, on a couch where they'd made love many a time.

It's no secret that I'm a bit of an "apologist" when it comes to B&B's Brooke and Amber. In Brooke's case, I feel like she's been unfairly painted as the villain in the drama surrounding Thomas and their kiss. As for Amber, portrayer Adrienne Frantz makes her scheming character so sympathetic that I often ended up feeling badly for her — even when Amber had done something wrong. That said, today's episode left me and my colleague, Mala Bhattacharjee, outraged and made me want to shake both characters.

Wowza! Friday's OLTL cliffhanger was a serious doozy and I can't wait to see how things unfold from here on out. I've been waiting for nasty Clint to finally get his due for all the pain and suffering he's caused for months, and just when I (along with every other OLTL viewer) thought he was FINALLY gonna pay — Blamo! He suddenly dropped the bomb that MATTHEW murdered Eddie! Uh, what?!

At first, I thought tacking on a "whodunnit?" to the story of GH's little Jake dying diminished its power. But as it has played out, the search for who hit Jake was just the prelude to an ancillary plot that carries a different kind of punch. Luke was behind the wheel of the car that killed Jake, and he'd been drinking.

With the baseball season running onto television's field again, I've been thinking about yet another fine aspect of soaps: There's much less of a rivalry among soap fan "teams" than sports fan leagues

I have mixed feelings about Stephanie and Brooke's brief friendship coming to an end on B&B. On the one hand, Susan Flannery and Katherine Kelly Lang play well off of each other when their characters are sparring, but I also liked seeing them mature and get past their differences.

Soaps know how deliver drama and romance, and they can also make us laugh. Doing all three at the same time is a bigger challenge, but OLTL pulled it off today with the wedding of David and Dorian. We felt for poor Dorian as David tried to postpone the proceedings. Was he really going to leave Dorian at the altar again?

AMC gave us a serious scare this week, and it's not necessarily out of the woods — in the absence of some sort of official announcement of the show's safety made by the network, I just have to hope that the reassuring talk EP Julie Hanan Carruthers delivered to the cast this week is where this story ends.
