A Night In Pine ValleyBy Mara Levinsky Posted: Oct 26, 2011
I had an absolutely amazing time at the kickoff night of A Tribute To Pine Valley at NYC's acclaimed Town Hall. I assumed I would have fun — what's not to like about being in a room with AMC faves Vincent Irizarry (David), Jacob Young (JR, now B&B's Rick), Michael E. Knight (Tad), Cameron Mathison (Ryan), Darnell Williams (Jesse) and Walt Willey (Jack)? But the evening exceeded my expectations. Clearly thrilled by and grateful for the warmth of the enthusiastic audience, the fellas put on a tremendous show, lovingly ribbing each other, telling terrific (and juicy!) behind-the-scenes tales and interacting with the audience aplenty. It was so successful that there is a veeery good chance that the Tribute will be heading to a town near you (see ATributeToPineValley.com for updates), but if you are within range of the next two shows (tonight in New Brunswick, NJ at the State Theatre and October 27 at The Theatre at Westbury in Long Island, NY), I can't recommend it highly enough, and tickets are still available.
