GENERAL HOSPITAL appears to have cornered the market on impressive young talent. Day after day I'm blown away by the stellar performance of Lexi Ainsworth (Kristina); particularly during her current abuse storyline. The maturity with which this 17-year-old handles such heavy material is amazing. Christian Alexander, who plays her boyfriend, Kiefer, is equally mesmerizing as her abuser. Violent one minute; then, oh-so-convincingly repentive the next. The aforementioned actors join a long list of super youth employed on the ABC soap. Drew Garrett has been spot on, since Michael woke up from his long coma after taking a gunshot to his head. He portrays the erratic brain injury survivor to perfection. And let's not forget Haley Pullos (Molly) and Aaron Refvem (Morgan). Both stand up to any adult scene partner their paired with and can handle fun kid stuff as well as heavy, emotional storylines, like Dante's shooting and Kristina's beating, with remarkable ease.
