This past week, the Top 9 truly pushed each other to the max. DeAndre wooed the entire population of young ladies with his soulful falsetto, Joshua showed his huge range and incredible power taking on Mariah Carey's "Without You", Jessica changed up and slayed Beyoncé's "Sweet Dreams", and both Phillip and Elise rocked out like true stars. Heejun also put on display his strong vocals, singing an emotional rendition of Donny Hathaway's "A Song For You". After an IDOL record five standing ovations (DeAndre, Elise, Joshua, Heejun, and Phillip), America had their work cut out for them. When it came to results night, a few of the contestants were rewarded for their great performances. Some received tweets from the artists whose songs they chose, and DeAndre actually got to meet his idol Eric Benet who surprised him by coming on the show and congratulating him on a job well done. Despite the incredible performances, however, someone had to go. Hollie, Heejun, and Skylar found themselves in the bottom three and, after all was said and done, Heejun was the last contestant standing. After singing for his life, Steven told him they would be letting him go, bringing his IDOL journey to an end. So with that said, I've got one question: Who's going to miss Heejun? Let me know if YOU are going to miss the one, the only, Heejun Han, on Twitter @robbierosenlive!. Wonder how the IDOLS will do next week taking on songs from the '80s! Can't wait to see and hear what goes down!
Hope ya like it!
