History Repeating

It's no secret that I haven't really liked the way that Taylor's been drawn back into Ridge's orbit; I felt that more could be done than having her constantly complain to Ridge about Brooke "corrupting" their adult son, Thomas. However, now that Taylor and Ridge are working together to search for a stranded Thomas and Brooke, I can easily buy them bonding through the experience. Taylor and Ridge have already lost a child, Phoebe, so it makes sense that they'd lean on each other during this difficult time. It's also understandable that they'd turn to each other as a source of hope.

I don't mind if the Brooke/Ridge/Taylor triangle is reinvigorated as long as there's a viable and organic reason for Ridge and Taylor to grow closer — beyond Taylor wanting to "win" him from Brooke or suddenly deciding that she loves Ridge again. I'd also like to see Whip be a bigger part of the storyline. Still, for the first time in a long time, I'm interested to see if anything happens between Taylor and Ridge, and how Brooke will fit in the future.
