I swung by the OLTL set earlier this week to chat with the always charming Ted King (Tomas), who is thoroughly enjoying his new digs in New York and in Llanview. There will be plenty from King in an upcoming issue of Digest, so keep an eye out! While I was there, I had the pleasure of also sneaking in on a photo shoot with Terri Conn (Aubrey), Josh Kelly (Cutter), Tom Degnan (Joey) and Gina Tognoni (Kelly). Not only did they all look absolutely fabulous, but everyone was having a great time singing along to some tunes, chatting and being silly while the photog snapped away. Maybe it was because the show is dark next week and they're all getting a well-deserved vacation, who knows?! Either way, I had a ball chilling with the foursome for a few minutes. Between throwing sexy poses, Tognoni danced to George Michael's "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" and admitted she had a huge crush on the singer when she was in high school and went ballistic at one of his concerts. Degnan let me listen to some new tracks his band laid down in the studio and newbie Kelly, ever the funnyman, was laughing that he needs to take modeling classes because he needs some tips to pose for the cameras like his co-stars, who are seasoned pros. Being able to see actors while they're just hanging out and being themselves is such a treat and an awesome part of my job when I'm lucky to catch moments like this without having to worry about my tape recorder being on! Here's hoping I'll be invited back to the OLTL set soon so I can hang with the crew again!
