While watching Billy Miller in action on Y&R as the new Billy Abbott (he's great, isn't he?), I had to chuckle when the randy character called Sharon's interior designer "sir." That's because I'm sure that respectful term wasn't anywhere in the script. Why?

Yipee! That's my reaction to the news that Katherine's doppelgänger Marge (the tacky, frowsy waitress) is coming back to Y&R. That switcheroo story back in 1990 — way before I started at Digest — was one of my all-time faves and Jeanne Cooper was an absolute hoot in both roles (if you weren't watching then, you missed the hilarious scene when La Chancellor had to impersonate Marge trying to act like Kay).

Here are some of my latest musings for the CBS lineup:
Who would've thunk that Y&R's Kevin would be the go-to guy in Genoa City for advice and laughs.

It appears motherhood has mellowed Y&R's Victoria. The only time she shows any sparks is when she's sniping at former-pal-now-stepmommy Sabrina (their confrontations are always dee-lish!).

Okay, what's up with Colleen's righteous indignation on Y&R? First, she found out that Cane and Chloe had drunk sex so Colleen took it upon herself to blast Chloe in the middle of Crimson Lights. "You're not welcome here, so why don't you get out?" raged Coll. "Go back to whatever nuthouse you escaped from."

From the Department of Just Asking:
On ATWT, why does everyone come and go in kitchens? Aren't there front doors anymore? Which reminds me, everyone is always in the Snyder kitchen eating, drinking, cooking but Emma is never there. Who stocks that thing?

Okay, so Robin Riker, who is playing the new Beth Logan on B&B, doesn't in any stretch of the imagination look old enough to be Brooke's mother but I have to admit that I already like this new incarnation.

Finola Hughes's (Anna, GH) last-minute decision to not play the role of Sabrina's mom Zara on Y&R has the soap frantically searching for a replacement. Here, I present five, very viable candidates.

I was buying a shirt I didn't need in Macy's over the weekend and I noticed that the 20-something sale clerk assisting me was wearing a name tag that read Daisy.

Matt Borlenghi (ex-Ziggy, B&B; ex-Brian, AMC) recently invited me to the screening of his new horror/thriller flick, Jack Rio, which he not only co-wrote but starred as the title character.
