Lauren Koslow (Kate, DAYS)
Lauren Koslow has been making waves as the crafty Kate Roberts since 1996, but she didn't begin as an actress. The second of three children studied art at University of Massachusetts, then transferred to Virginia Tech, where she obtained a degree in costume design.

VIDEO: DAYS fan event to benefit juvenile diabetes
On August 23, eight current and former actors from DAYS OF OUR LIVES held two events to benefit The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF.org). Fans were treated to a lively Q&A and autograph session during the afternoon, and a cocktail reception in the evening where the fans got to mingle with the actors.

A la Eva Gabor in the classic 1960s sitcom, GREEN ACRES, farm living has become the life for DAYS OF OUR LIVES' Lauren Koslow. Unlike Gabor's sitcom character, Lisa (at least, initially), Koslow loves it! When she's not on-set emoting as the troubled Kate, Koslow can be found tending to her organic crops and loving every minute of it. She and her husband, makeup artist Nick Schillace, have even started their own company, House of Green Stables.
