When James Hyde graduated from high school, he joined the Army and became a field medic, work he loved because it gave him the opportunity to make a difference and save lives. While stationed in Hawaii, he was spotted by a photographer and before long the 6-foot-1-inch Hyde became a favorite model of such designers as Versace, Ferre and Valentino. MORE
